She-Devil

Upon your midnight hours
she comes to you,
as a vamp in the night,
stealing your
heart and soul
away from me,
and you delight,
with the She-Devil.

Waiting to draw the
blood from your neck.
She tempts you into
passion and desire,
with promises of a better life.
She puts your heart on fire.
You breathe heavily
with anticipation of her.

You are not here
for me tonight.
The darkness is all I see.

The black cat is upon
your window-sill.
The moon is full
and the hour is late.
The wolf is
howling over the lake.
I see her as my darkness,
you see her as your light.
Only God knows who is right.
Only time will tell the tale.
If she is free to love you
better than I can.
I wish you well,

You put me upon the shelf for
the time you spend with her,
into a dark corner
waiting for your love;
patiently waiting
and crying for you
to turn back to me,
hoping to become your lover.

When does the
darkness drift away?
Looking upon my grieving face,
only when you
turn around to say,
"I still love you, my Queen,"
and smile upon me again
with rays of sunshine
from your lips,
can I smile again.
Are you still my King?

Does the She-Devil have a
hold upon you every night
Within your midnight hours?
Is she sucking your blood dry?
Is she corrupting your soul?
Has she stolen your heart?
Can you escape from her chains?

The She-Devil stalks upon your door
into the darkened night,

Within your midnight hours she
gives you a kiss of death
to her delight.

Please release me stranger,
and come to me no-more.
For I seek not the darkness,
but only the Light.
I cannot follow you into the pit.
The pit of darkness,
the pit of hell.
Release me, please!
Release me now!

Goodbye
Sweet Darlin'
I will miss you

"Your Angel"
