MOTHER NATURE

My spirit flies around the world,
hovering over all; the mountainsides,
the river bends, the great blue seas,
searching for my true love
--searching for thee.
The sparkling waters glistening
against the sunlit hues,
calling out to you.
Where can you be?
Where have you gone?
Seems like ions of time slipping by,
without the wind of your smile
wisping against my lips.
What is your name? Do you exist?
The trees are blown by your love
that has passed me by,
knowing you are there
---somewhere.
I am a giant of femininity,
a whole universe of love for thee.
I am Mother Nature,
touched by a Spirit within.
I am a sea maiden, a mermaid
swimming for the shore,
in my fantasy, looking for reality.
I'm a heart that bleeds,
a truthful need. a lonely soul.
an eagle's flight through the night,
still, searching for thee.
