Never Alone

Are you lonely and blue?
Do you feel alone?
Yes. I do too.
But, there is someone else
in the room with you.
We forget to appreciate
the silent one
who loves us and is
there to protect.
When we shed our tears
she is sad too.
When we smile
she is smiling too.
When we sin she shuns away.
When we pray,
we have a companion
praying with us too.
All night long
she stands watch
over our soul.
She is there loving us,
with no thanks
from our lips.
How sad that our
Guardian Angel loves us
in silence without
being recognized.
When you feel alone,
just remember that
you are never alone.
Say a thank you to
your Angel,
every now and then,
for being there with you,
and maybe you won't
feel so alone.
