The waves rushing
and splashing against the sand. We were there upon the
rocks embracing. Only sounds of waves rolling on the beach under
the twinkling stars. Our hearts thrusting against the wind, and the
moonlight glistening into the night. As the water flooded onto our
skin. Our thoughts swimming into fantasyland, our own Paradise for
two. Emerging from a hazy dream to a warm, wet, kiss that will never
end. Our bathing suits did loosely hang with salty beads upon our lips.
No words were spoken as the moment was frozen enthralled
by all time, of ecstasy, and the sky rolling by through eternity with
the sweetness of youth, our friend. Never knowing how it would end.
Reminiscing, how we lived so long to be apart. Tearful eyes
reflecting mirrored shadows of lovers upon the rocks of when we were
young. But when I die, I'll be there again, waiting for him --upon
the rocks.
Dedicated To Nat,
As the years go by, and we grow old; the memories don't die, but just intensify. Only to remember what we meant to each other. For the older I get the more I realize what we meant, and what we had was so precious that words cannot describe the love we shared, upon the rocks, and how special those memories are. They will carry me through the years, and will be with me not until the day I die, but, until eternity. Because I can no longer have you, I only pray to be joined with you again in another life-- -upon the rocks~
