What you will need to do this tutorial:
Some knowledge of PSP tools
1. PSP 7
2. Objects
Please download and unzip to your Shapes Folder In PSP.
Download Here
3. Tubes
Download and unzip open them in PSP.
Download Here
4. Dee's Preset Blade Pro

Select Page 5 at the bottom of her site and you will see the Red Heart Preset that I used. Download and unzip to your environments and texture folder in Blade Pro. Be sure to visit other pages on Dee's sites.


Let's Get Started

1. Open a 400 x 400 transparent image.
2. In your top style box select solid color white.
3. Select PreShape Tool

SETTINGS:
Apple 1
Line Width 12
Antilias Check Mark

4. Go to the transparent image and starting up towards the top on the left hand side draw your apple to be quite large. 5. Go to Selections>Select All
6. Go to Selections>Float
7. Go to Effects>Plug Ins>Flaming Pear>Blade Pro select the D_RedHeart preset. Click OK. Deselect.
8. With you magic wand

SETTINGS:
Match Mode RGB Value
Tolerance 0
Feather 0
No Check Mark
Click in the center of your apple

9. Go to Selections>Modify>Expand type in 2 Click OK
10. Go to Layers>New Rastar click OK
11. Flood fill your apple stem with brown I used HTML #400000
12. Go to Effects>Texture Effects>Rough Leather


SETTINGS:
Leather Color Black
Angle 315
Luminance 17
Contrast 17
Sharpness 8
Blur 25
Light Color White

13. Go to Layers>Arrange>Send to Bottom. Deselect
14. Click on Layer 1 on your layer palette to make it active
15. With the magic wand select the inside of the apple. Not the opening just the apple part. You should have marching ants around the inner apple part
16. Go to Selections>Modify>Expand type in 2 click OK
17. Go to Layers>New Rastar click OK
18. Select solid color in your top style box I used HTML color #EF2752
19. Flood fill the marching ants with this color
20. Go to Selections>Float
21. Go to Effects>3D Effects>Cut Out

SETTINGS:
Vertical and Horizontal 5
Opacity 50
Blur 25
Color Black
Click OK

22. Go back to your Cut Out effect and this time change only your vertical and horizontal to Minus -5. Click OK. Deselect
23. Time to add our worm. Open the worm tube you d/l go to Edit>Copy
24. Click on the working image go to Edit>Paste as A New Layer. Moving him where the back end is going into the apple opening
25. Go to Effects>3D Effects>Drop Shadow

SETTINGS:
Vertical and Horizontal 5
Opacity 50
Blur 5
Color Black
Click OK

26. Open the snail tube. Copy and paste it the same way as you did with the worm. Move them down to the bottom of your apple. 27. Go to Effects>3D Effects>Drop Shadow. Use the same settings you used in step 25
28. Open the Lady Bug tube. Copy and Paste it the same way you did the other tubes. Place it where you want on your apple. Go to Effects>3D Effects>Drop Shadow use same settings as in Step 25
29. Open the Butterfly tube. Copy and Paste just like you have previously. Place it where ever you would like. You can more butterflies that is up to you
30. Go to Effects>3D Effects>Drop Shadow use same settings as in Step 25
31. Open the bee tube. Do the same thing as you have done previously with all the tubes. Do your drop shadow with the same settings
32. Open the last tube Birds with String. Repeat Step # 31
33. Go to your Layer Palette and high light layer # 1
34. With your magic wand select the opening part of your apple
35. Go to Selections>Modify>Expand type in 2 click OK
36. The top style box select solid color White
37. Go to Layers>New Rastar click OK
38. Flood fill the marching ants
39. Go to Layers>Arrange>Send To Bottom
40. Go to Selections>Float
41. Go to Effects>3D Effects>Cut Out

Vertical Minus -5
Horizontal 5 Blur 5
Color Black

42. Now lets add an effect to the apple. You may like it smooth if you do you are finished go to step # 45. If you want an effect like I have done do the following step.
43. Go to the Layer Palette high light layer 3. That should be the center of your apple
44. Go to Effects>Texture Effects>Fine Leather

SETTINGS:
Color Black
Angle 210
Blur 10
Number of Furrows 18
Length of Furrows 10
Transparency 210
Click OK

45. Go to Layers>Merge>Visible
46. With your magic wand click on the outside of your apple
47. Go to Selections>Invert
48. Go to Image>Crop to Selection
49. Go Image>Resize make sure no number is larger than 300 in the pixel boxes. Make sure the two bottom boxes have check marks. Click OK
50. Go to Effects>Sharpen>Sharpen
51. Go to Layers>Merge>All Flatten.
You may continuing decorating any way you would like
