F-Zero X Review

My thoughts on F-Zero X.

The Good

F-Zero X is one of the best racing games ever. And coming from me, thats rare, because I only like four racing games in total, they are: F-Zero, Mario Kart(Those for the SNES), Mario Kart 64, and F-Zero X(Which are for the N64). We all probably know that F-Zero, for the SNES, was very good, but one thing was wrong with it, only one-player. F-Zero X has made this race of the universe 4-player. The graphics on this are great. The sound and music is very good as usual, just like in the first. The difficulty is incredible. It goes from Novice-Master. The play control is decent as well, takes a little while to master the Spin Attack, but everything else is pretty basic. Now, there are many classic levels from the first, such as Mute City, Big Blue, and Silence. The number of levels do not come to mind right now, but there are plenty to keep you busy. Machines, plenty of those also. Thirty in all. Take your pick that suits you the best(My favorite is Baba, with the Iron Tiger). Many modes too, Grand Prix race, Practice Mode, Time attack, Death Race, and VS Battle. So buckle up, because F-Zero X was an automatic hit!

The Bad

Not many drawbacks to this game, though there are a little bit. Most of the pilots(To me) are just uncontrolable. And last, you can not race two-player in the GP race, like you can in the Mario Karts. But other than those little things, that pretty much covers it.

All in All

F-Zero X is a great game. Very well designed, has a lot of replay value as well. Difficulty is very challenging as well. If you like high speed-thrilling races, this game is for you!
