Zelda 64 Review
Heres my opinion on Zelda 64.
The Good
This was very good, great in fact. But it is no match for the older Zelda's, in my opinion, though. The 3-D look is great but destorys the total trational way of "Bird's View" format that all the other Zelda's(Besides the second) have. Graphics are stunning! More weapons to chose from this time! Have five weapons equipped at once(Sword, Shield, and Three weapons you select). More action than ever, enemies, dungeons, and bosses to conquer as well. Sound and music is great and so is the controlling.
The Bad
Well, like I said it's not the same ol' Zelda. Change is bad in this case. Not many challenging battles, like fighting Lizardmen, Gerudo Theives, and Dark Nuts. If you know what to do, you could breeze through the game in about a day or so. Not many extra stuff to get either. Also, the ending is a disappointment as well.
All in All
I make this game sound bad, but it is a great game, one of the best for the N64. I was only comparing it to the other Zelda's. Many people mistake Zelda 64 an RPG merely based on because you have a lot of weapons, and armor, etc. Well they're wrong. RPG's are based on this; gaining new and higher levels gaining exp.(Experience Points) Though this Zelda isn't as good as the first two Zelda's for the NES(The Legend of Zelda and The Legend of Zelda: Link's Adventure) as well as the one for the SNES(The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past), this Zelda is really good, and worth buying.
