Though we've never met face to face.

I can complain to you about guys and friends,
And never once have you gotten tired of me.
We can talk about anything, from love to music,
And on almost everything, we agree.
I can be myself when I talk to you,
Accepting each other, as who we are.
Sometimes I feel like you're right next to me,
Or, at least somewhere, that's not too far.
I'm not embarrassed to tell you when I'm hurt,
Nor afraid to turn to you and cry.
Even through a computer, you know how I feel,
And would never leave me hanging with a sigh.
We are so different in many ways,
Yet in many ways, we're also the same.
We're able to open up to each other
And never taken love as a silly game.
I never thought our friendship would go this far,
I never knew it could be this real.
I hope I've been there just as much for you,
And please understand I always will.
Maybe one day when we're older,
We'll be able to meet face to face.
But until then, my dear Internet friend,
