Sorry for the EXTREMELY long delay...There's been LOTS going on. Anyway, here's the deal, rather than try to catch up on 4 months of news, I'm just going to continue with current news. If you want to check out what happened with Aaron Carter in the last 4 months, check out AaronNews. Thanks!

Wow, where to begin...

Aaron Carter released his new album, "Most Requested Hits" on November 18th 2003. The album contains Aaron's biggest singles from Aaron's Party (Come Get It) on. There are also two new songs, three if you count "She Wants Me," which was only released with the Twister Moves game. The new songs are "One Better," which Aaron co-wrote, and "My Shorty," which is a cover song from the band "The Grand Skeem" who originally named it "Shorti!" The album's really cool and a MUST HAVE, if you haven't got it already!

Aaron is expected to release a new album in 2004.

Aaron was on the "Build-A-Bear" float on the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade this morning! He sang "One Better." He looks so much like Nick! It's hard to believe he'll be 16 in a week!

Aaron did an episode of "MTV Cribs" where he showed off his house, including his PERSONAL living room! Pretty cool, huh? Anyway, the episode will re-air Friday November 29th (Tomorrow) at 6:00PM on MTV.

It was just confirmed this week that the Backstreet Boys will record again! There has been lots going on...Nick's solo and acting career, Brian became a father, Kevin starred in Chicago on Broadway, among lots of others. The guys announced that they will start recording with a new label (They left Jive Records) early next year and their first new album in 4 years (3 if you count "Drowning") will hit stores in late 2004!

Just one final confirmation about Aaron being in Nova Scotia...and this time it's from none-other than Hilary Duff. Hilary was on ET-On-MTV on July 26th and she said that she didn't have a boyfriend because she and Aaron were broken up. She did say, however, "I hope you're having fun rehearsing in Halifax Nova Scotia!" So there you have it! (Thanks Allie and AaronNews for this.)

Okay, just a quick follow-up about a report I made last week...Last week I said that a friend had seen Aaron Carter here in Nova Scotia...I am now able to say that this was COMPLETELY TRUE! Aaron WAS in Nova Scotia rehearsing for his current tour! Last night, Aaron was even seen with a group of body guards at a local mall! Aaron will be leaving within the next few days, though, as his tour begins next week. Cool, eh?!

Aaron Carter's new album WAS NOT released on Tuesday, but a fan reports (From a reliable source) that it will be released in late 2003 or early 2004, and as of yet, it doesn't have a title. (Thanks to Laura and AaronNews for this)

Okay, this didn't sound possible, but it kinda makes sense. A friend-of-a-friend of mine here in Nova Scotia works at a store in Halifax (The capital of Nova Scotia). She had a guy come in last week and look at a few things and leave. When he left, the manager (A teenager) came running over to her and said "Do you realize who that was?! It was Aaron Carter!" At this, the friend of a friend ran after him and asked for his autograph. At first I thought she was lying, but then I learned that Aaron is SUPPOSEDLY out of the United States rehearsing for his tour. Also, she DOES have the autographed picture, which does seem like a recent magazine picture. Again, I'm going by her words only, but Aaron has said that he liked Halifax...cool, eh?!

Aaron's new album WILL NOT be released on July 22nd, but will instead be released PROBABLY later this year. The first single is called "She Wants Me" and it features Aaron's brother, Backstreet Boy Nick Carter! You can see the cover of the CD here and listen to the song here. A blast from the past! Here's a picture of the ORIGINAL Backstreet Boys (Taken in 1993). A VERY YOUNG Nick Carter, AJ McLean and Howie Dorough are joined by Sam Licata and Charlie Edwards, who were members of the group, then were replaced by Phoenix Stone, then replaced permantly by Kevin Richardson and Brian Littrell! SCHOOL'S ALMOST OVER! WELL, it IS OVER for ME! Hehe. Good luck to everyone with their final grades! Anyway, my computer still isn't working, so here's just another quick update...

Aaron Carter's "Do You Remember" is track #5 and Nick Carter's "Help Me" is track #12 on the compilation CD "Planet Pop 5," in CANADA. Also, both of the Carter brothers are on the cover of the CD!

"Extra!" will visit Aaron Carter at the Carter Compound in Florida on the July 2nd show. DON'T MISS IT!

Sorry for the lack of updates, but my computer still isn't working. I am able to update (sometimes) on my cousin's computer, but less frequently. Also note that EXAMS start for me NEXT WEEK, so there will be less updates because of that as well. Sorry for the inconvenience! For the latest news, be sure to check out AaronNews, Aaron Carter Crazy and Backstreet.Net. I did manage to get a few news stories, though...here's the latest...

Backstreet Boy Howie Dorough is expected to release a solo album later this year. The album will feature both English and Spanish songs. He has about 15 songs so far, but there is no more news about the album at the moment. Stay tuned for updates.

Aaron is featured in the newest issue of Vanity Fair magazine, Popstar! magazine, Tiger Beat and there is a line about him in the newest issue of In Touch in an article about Hilary Duff.

Unfortunately, I'm not going to be able to use my computer at home for a while, so there will not be a lot of updates. Also, school is coming to an end, so I need to study for exams. I am still able to update (sometimes) on my cousin's computer, but that's it. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Aaron was AMAZING on Tuesday's "The Early Show." He was not performing live, as previously reported, but was instead part of the "All Star Week Of Wishes." A VERY LUCKY fan named Nikki, from somewhere in the northern United States, got to visit Aaron at his HOME in Marathon, Florida, after her mom wrote a letter saying that she was a big fan who loved to sing, and that her gradmother had recently died. Nikki was told that they were going to the home of a CBS executive, because her family had won a trip to florida, so she was totally shocked when Aaron came out and said that she was in his house! Hehe. Aaron signed some stuff for her and took her on a tour of the "Carter Compound" and she even got to meet Nick! There has been a conflict with Aaron's tour schedule! Aaron's concert on August 26th at the Chicago "House of Blues" conflicts with another band's concert, so Aaron's concert there has been posponed. A recent message from Aaron Carter's Official Fan Club says: "We will be offering meet and greets for most of Aaron's tour dates (other than sporting events and charity events). I made a mistake recently about YTV's Hitlist. I said that after the season finale (Which airs TOMORROW and SUNDAY in CANADA only), the Hitlist will go into re-runs for the summer. However, this year, Danielle and Rob are going to chenge things a little bit. YTV's Hitlist WILL NOT go into re-runs this summer...instead, all new episodes will air! The show will, however, only be an hour-long, and not an hour-and-a-half long, like usual, to give fans time to enjoy vacation! So, all Canadian fans, be sure to check it out! Maybe Aaron and Nick will be featured?! Aaron DOES have an album coming out in July! LoL.

I've had a few questions about Nick Carter's Official Site. Apparently, when you go to www.n-carter.com, you are re-directed to the Official Rolling Stone (Magazine) website. If you wait and let the site load, it will load the Rolling Stone site and an ad will pop up that says that Getmusic (Part of Jive Records) is affiliated with Rolling Stone. I checked out Jive Records Official Site to see if they were still using this address, and they now have Nick's Official site as being www.nickcarter.com. Originally, they couldn't use this address because someone was already using it, but everything that was on the other site can now be found at this address. I hope that clears things up a bit.

There is an AMAZING picture of Aaron in the July 2003 issue of "Bop" magazine on the back inside cover. There is also a short article on Aaron's first lemonade stand along with another awesome picture on page 31. The issue will be on news-stands until July 14th, 2003, so check it out!

This week on YTV's Hitlist...The Top 30 Countdown was pre-empted, and instead, Danielle interviewed Shaun Desmon in a tropical, summer type show. (Shaun's a Canadian singer, in case you haven't heard of him). They were hanging out and enjoying the tropical weather and were playing tropical videos to celebrate summer! Aaron Carter's "Summertime" was played back-to-back with Nick Carter's "I Got You." Next week is the season finale (Hard to believe), and then the show will start airing repeats of the year's best shows. Maybe one will feature Aaron and/or Nick?!

Last week, a fan noticed that the ticket information for Aaron's Hampton Hill, NH concert at the Casino Ballroom said "18 and over unless accompanied by a parent of legal guardian." (Thanks Melissa) Shortly thereafter, the 18 and over problem for the concert was cleared up, and the Ballroom's Official Site now says "Special All Ages Show!" Backstreet Boy AJ McLean's mom, Denise, has just finished writting a BOOK about AJ's life as a Backstreet Boy, his rise to stardom and his battles with alcoholism. The book is set to be published in December, 2003. VH1.Com is reporting that Aaro Carter will be on CBS's "The Early Show" on May 27th. The show will also feature Mark Wahlberg and will air at 7:00AM EST on CBS. I'm not sure if it's a repeat.

Aaron and Nick Carter will lend their voices and moves to the launch of Milton Bradley's TWISTER MOVES(TM) game, a dance version of the classic TWISTER game to be launched this June. This exciting agreement between Hasbro Games, Jive Records and the Carters will result in an exclusive TWISTER MOVES-compatible music track featuring performances by Nick and Aaron on a CD that will be packaged with the game. In addition to the recording, the Carters will be on hand to host a major TWISTER MOVES launch event this fall, featuring performances by the artists and a larger-than-life "play-along" TWISTER MOVES session led by Nick and Aaron. Backstreet Boy Nick Carter is gonna star in a movie! He recently signed on to star in the "Sleepy Hollow"-inspired horror thriller "Hollow." The indie project also will mark the feature debut of "8 Simple Rules for Dating My Teenage Daughter" star Kaley Cuoco. Budgeted at less than $5 million, "Hollow" is described as a present-day retelling of "Sleepy Hollow" set in a small New England town where a group of high school seniors learn that they are the direct descendants of those responsible for a tragic event that begins to replay itself. No director is set for the film. Nick will play a high school jock and captain of the football team in a role that he describes as a "hormonal brute with a bit of a 'tude." "It couldn't have been more perfect for what I was looking to achieve in making the move into acting," Carter said. "I didn't want it to be something that felt fake or just not right. The role itself is perfect. It's not too much; it's just enough to show people that I can do it." Also cast alongside Carter and Cuoco are Nick Turturro, Judge Reinhold, Kevin Zegers, Joseph Masiello, Eileen Brennan, Stacy Keach and Melissa Schuman, the latter having had a brush with pop fame as part of the girl group Dream. Like most other parents of a 6-month-old, Brian Littrell of the Backstreet Boys and his model-actress wife, Leighanne, are probably ready for a night out on the town. But their responsibilities will extend beyond picking a gooey romantic comedy at the local megaplex. The couple will host this year's Heroes Awards to benefit the Atlanta chapter of the Recording Academy's Professional Arts Education Programs and MusiCares Foundation. The benefit is slated for June 5 at the Westin Peachtree Plaza downtown.
This year's honorees include "the Godfather of Soul" James Brown, Savannah guitar and drum manufacturers Fred and Dinah Gretsch, 99X and Q100 programming director Leslie Fram and the members of TLC.

Remember gil's long blond hair? Well, it's gone! Yep, he cut his hair in late 2002/early 2003, and it's now just above his shoulders!

Gil has a new official site, www.gilofarim.de.

Aaron Carter's 2003 SUMMER TOUR, the JUKE BOX TOUR 2003 will kick off in JULY! Is Aaron coming to a city near you? I've adding the PRELIMINORY (sp? LoL) TOUR DATES, which you can see by CLICKING HERE! The tour visits most of the United States (Unfortunately, there are NO CANADIAN DATES), but in September, Aaron will visit JAPAN as well! There is an ad in the new issue of "Teen Vogue Magazine" which states that Aaron's NEW album will be released on July 22nd, and that a single should be hitting TV and radio soon!

Aaron and Nick were AWESOME on "Seasame Street." They talked about how siblings are different, and then sang a song about it! Great job Carter Brothers!

Aaron is featured in the new issue of "People Magazine" (The one with Matt LeBlanc on the cover). There is a two-page article on Hilary Duff, and it says "And oh yes, much teen-mag chronicling of her near 2-year on-again-off-again romance with singer Aaron Carter. It's on again: 'He messed up big last time' she says cryptically 'but he's being good this time.'" Backstreet Boy Kevin Richardson will host and narrate a new video to educate elementary school kids about public lands and habitats. Put together by National Geographic and the nonprofit group Just Within Reach, the 20-minute video will be distributed to hundreds of fifth grade classes during the 2003-04 academic year. AJ McLean is once again fighting to stay sober! Fans surely recall when they heard the news of AJ entering rehab in summer, 2001, and were estatic to learn that he was sober. His soberness didn't last long, though. AJ says that he slowly went back to his old ways. AJ also admits to illegally taking perscription drugs, which he would wash down with alcohol. His alcoholism got the best of him, in late 2002, though. AJ stayed late with his AA from his record label, and they ended up having an affair. AJ says that unfortunately, it meant absolutely nothing to him (He used a foul word when talking about this, LoL), but the AA lady thought different. Mad at AJ for refusing to commit to a relationship, she called AJ's fiancée, Sarah Martin, and told her everything. "And then she was gone," AJ says. Aaron Carter's Official UK Site now has a review and lots of pictures from the GradNite concert at Seaworld in Orlando, Florida on Friday! Check it out! Aaron did a GREAT job at GradNite! Jane, BJ, and Leslie Carter were there, but Angel wasn't. Bridgett and Brianne from Triple Image were there, but they said Brittany was sick. Aaron's good friend, dancer/choreagrapher Kaki was there, and well as Kevin, another friend of Aaron's. Aaron rode some roller coasters, and 15 lucky people got to go backstage! Hilary Duff was on a Sacramento, California radio show, "107.9 THE END" over the weekend. During the really long interview that took place, Hilary confirmed confirmed that she and Aaron ARE IN FACT DATING AGAIN! Hilary said: "You know what, it's crazy. You're actually the, like, first person I'm going to admit it to. Okay...here we go...wow, um, we're together again. Yeah, it's very cool. I'm having a good time. We're cool. Oh my God he saw me on like all the shows too, like in New York, and he's like 'Why are you not saying we're dating to anybody?', and I was like 'Ahhh'. So here we go. Sacramento, you're the first people to know." So there you have it, THEY ARE BACK TOGETHER! As long as they're happy, that's all that matters! Aaron's episode of "All That" where he performs "To All The Girls" will be repeated on Saturday, May 24th, at 8:00PM on Nickelodeon. Spectra Management's Jane Carter and Premier Artists Services' President Eliot Weisman have formed a strategic partnership to oversee management of Aaron Carter in all media! The initial objective of the partnership includes supervising A&R for Aaron's upcoming Jive Records album, due this fall. Aaron has been writing and recording both in Hollywood, California, and the Florida Keys. A late summer US concert tour is also in the works. Since "Camp Summer Stage" just has NOT worked out, Aaron will be starring in his first feature film, "Future Force," executive produced by E3 Entertainment. The project, in which Aaron leads the fight to defend the globe from alien invaders, is described as a multi-generational film combining elements from "Armageddon," "Men In Black," "Galaxy Quest," and "The Last Starfighter." Also, something I forgot. (Sorry) Last week on YTV's Hitlist, they aired part one of a recent interview with Avril Lavigne. (This week they aired part two.) During the first part, Avril was asked if she'd ever consider recording with Nick Carter, since they both have a "rock-edge" to their music. Avril replied that she had already received requests from Nick's record company asking if they could record a song together. Avril declined the oppertunity, because she said their music styles were too different, and that although Nick's a good singer, she said she didn't really like his style of music.

This weekend, "ET on MTV" showed some clips of Aaron Carter and Hilary Duff at her movie premiere last weekend! Sorry, I (again) didn't know in advance. On Friday's episode of "Good Morning America," Hilary Duff was again asked about the current situation between her and Aaron, and she, again, replied "We're really good friends, he's great," and when she was asked if they were together, she wouldn't say yes or no. Instead, she replied: "It's really hard because we're always out of town. We're always working." Hilary was also asked about her and Aaron on "Regis & Kelly." They asked her if Aaron was still her boyfriend, and again, she didn't say yes or no.

Aaron was on Tuesday night's episode of "Access Hollywood." Sorry, I didn't know about it in advance. They showed him at "The Lizzie McGuire Movie" premiere on the red carpet with Hilary and asked him a few questions. Now, everyone's wondering if they're going out again?! Neither one of them (on Access Hollywood) confirmed nor denied that they are dating again, but Aaron did say that Hilary told him that she'd tell him Tuesday. Whether they are or are not dating, it's okay. They are normal people, and they deserve their privacy. They were also on "Extra" and "Entertainment Tonight." (Thanks to Aaron Carter Crazy for this.)

Just a little bit of a follow-up since their appearecne on "Access Hollywood" on Tuesday...Hilary Duff was on MTV's Total Request Live today, May 1st, and when she was asked about what was going on between her and Aaron she replied, "We’re really, really good friends and we went to the premiere together and he’s great!". There are two new Aaron Carter tourdates! The first one is at Wild Adventures in Valdosta, Georgia on June 14th! Tickets will go onsale May 14th at 10:00AM! Aaron's Official UK Site is reporting that the filming for "Camp Summer Stage" is off for now. However, they also report that Aaron is working on another movie deal, which will be announced later. Currently, plans are being made for Aaron's United States concert tour, and his visit to Europe and the UK, which was supposed to take place in January (After being rescheduled from the original date of October 2002). Aaron is featred in the new issue of "TEEN" magazine! The issue is the "Summer 2003" issue with Kaley Cuoco on the cover. Aaron was on "The Nick Cannon Show" in Canada for...MAYBE 10 seconds! Hehe...Nick was planning a wedding and he needed some guests, so he called Aaron (and other celebs) on his cell, and they showed Aaron talking to Nick saying he can't go to the wedding. It was good to see Aaron, but I kinda thought there would be more to his appearence.

Aaron was a guest judge on Friday's "America's Most Talented Kid" on NBC. Sorry, I didn't know about this in advance...I only caught it because I was flipping through channels and thought that I recognized one of the judges! Hehe. I missed the first 10 minutes, or so. Aaron was AWESOME, though! Between some performances, he talked to the host about his career and the kids that were featured. (They were REALLY talented). Lance Bass was a co-host and he talked to familes of the troupes currently serving in Iraq. Great job Aaron!

Aaron and Cole Weiss will be making three promotional appearances throughout May and June for "Camp Summer Stage!" One will be in Long Beach, California! More info to come!

Aaron Carter was mentioned on Jay Leno on Monday Night! Arseno Hall (Host of "Star Search") was on and Hilary Duff was promoting her new movie "The Lizzie McGuire Movie" on the April 21st episode of "The Tonight Show With Jay Leno." After talking about driving and other stuff with Jay, Jay announced that they had a clip of the movie to show. Hilary talked a little about the movie and mentioned "Rome boys are cute!" With this, Arseno said "But are they as cute as Aaron Carter?!" Hehe. Hilary and Jay laughed and Hilary replied "Stop it Arsenio." Jay's remark was "I don't think Arsenio should be reading Tiger Beat magazine." Hehe. This episode of the "Tonight Show" will repeat at 3:00AM on Monday, April 28th.

Aaron was on a CANADIAN TV production last night about tweens! He was featured for less than a minute, but it was still surprising to see him! They played part of the "Aaron's Party (Come Get It)" video, showed an Aaron Carter doll, Mag-A-Music magazine cover, and reported he released his first album at age 11. Since September, Aaron has been on two epsiodes of "Liberty's Kids." They will repeat on May 8th (first) and May 26th (second) on PBS. Check the PBS Website for when it's on in your area--some states will differ by a day. In one episode (I think it's the first, but I'm NOT SURE), he plays Joseph Plumb Martin, a member of Washington's army who is against Baron Von Streuben, the new German leader.

Nick Carter has changed his boat-racing class. He recently left APBA Offshore, and became a member of the Superboat Unlimited class of racing, and races under Super Boat International Productions (SBIP)! The first race is the Miami Super Boat Grand Prix, which is scheduled to take place from April 25th to 27th. Nick's top team includes Todd Wharton at the throttles and Marc LaFleur at the wheel! Aaron and Nick Carter are on the cover of the new issue of "KidPower" magazine. The new issue marks the one-year birthday of the magazine, which features info and pics of some of today's coolest kids shows. This issue has an emphasise on Sesame Street, and the stars who will appear in the new season (Aaron and Nick will be on an episode airing May 12). The picture on the cover is of Aaron and Nick on the set of Sesame Street.

Nick Carter's April 11th concert has been cancelled due to poor ticket sales. The concert, planned for William A. Ford Amphitheater, only sold 1000 tickets. Management suggests that this is due to the current issues in the world, including the war with Iraq. A performance by O-Town was also cancelled. Tickets are refundable.

Aaron Carter's performance at the Virgin Islands has been cancelled, but I have no info on why this happened.

"The Disco Ball" will repeat on April 11th at 7:00PM ET on VH1! Aaron sings Andy Gibbs' song "I Just Want To Be Your Everything."

In response to the news of the Backstreet Boys breaking up...

I just wanna inforce that this MAY NOT BE TRUE! There is new evidence that has come about (More articles) in response to this stating that the stuff published about the Boys breaking up IS NOT TRUE. These new articles make good points when they say that none of the BOYS have come forth and said their next album is there last. They also say that if you look at the magazines that are saying the Boys are breaking up, they're all known for being "rumor-magazines" that will say anything to sell a story. With that, I'd ask everyone NOT TO BELIEVE everything they READ, because there are some bad rumors going around that just aren't true. Like I said before, Backstreet might be back again!

America's "Kids" magazine made by National Geographic has a picture of Aaron Carter with four of his dogs! The article is named ZipUSA: 33050 on page 17.

Some (Potentially) devastating news...

According to the Sanfransisco Chronicle, the Backstreet Boys have put the recording of their latest album on hold because the boys are at different stages in their lives and they don't feel that it's time to record yet. But that's not the bad part...they also reported that when they do eventually record their new album, it will be their LAST. They report that the guys will promote the album, which they hope will hit shelves in the fall, and when they do the tour that goes along with it, it will be their "Farewell Tour." To read the article, click here. Now, the Backstreet Boys have been together for over 10 years, so don't get yourself worked up yet. If you read the editorials at the bottom of the page, you'll find some convincing opinions from fans, also so facts that go against what was said in the newspaper. Don't get your hopes up just yet...Backstreet might be back again!

Aaron Carter has a song on a free CD in specially marked boxes of Cheerios cereal. They are marked with Nickelodeon's Kids' Choice Award logo. Aaron is not nominated for any Kids Choice Awards this year, but he is on the VOLUME 1 CD...check it out! Nick also has a song on there called "Don't Walk Away."

Aaron and Angel Carter will be hanging out with some foster children for Oscar's Experience through the Children United Nations organization, which includes a day at the spa, formal wear and the dinner/Academy Awards viewing party in honor of CUN at Los Angeles' House of Blues. After the dinner, Aaron and Angel will be making the rounds of Oscar night parties: Elton John's annual AIDS fundraiser, the Miramax/Dimension get-together and Paramount's gala. Nick Carter has now finished his solo tour and Kevin Richardson has finished his run on Broadway, therefore, the Backstreet Boys had a meeting today to discuss plans for a new album! Well, it's MARCH, 3 months into the year 2003...it's about time to pre-order your 2004 Aaron Carter calendar! Yep, that's right, Mini Calendar and the Wall Calendar.

Thanks to Meg and Aaron Carter Crazy, we have tentitive information for Aaron Carter's NEXT album! Aaron is pretty much done rapping and is settling very nicely into singing. Jive is considering putting a "PARENTAL ADVISORY" warning on it. This means he may have some explicit lyrics. I don't think they'll be THAT far out, but work with this. As far as tracks, "Figure it Out," "Contemplate," "Reach Out," "Good Life," and "Smile," which Aaron wrote will be featured! And according to Aaron, a tour is expected for late summer!

The TENTATIVE airdate for Aaron and Nick's episode of "Seasame Street" is May 12th 2003!

Aaron and Angel are scheduled to appear on the runway for fashion designer Charlie Lapson at Fashion Week of the Americas in Miami Beach on Saturday, March 22nd at 6:00 PM. I don't think Aaron will be performing, only modeling.

MuchMusic, in Canada, had a half-hour show that aired several times last week about Nick Carter called "Nick Carter: Exposed." The show spent time with Nick in September 2002 while on a promotional stop in Toronto, Ontario, as well as a concert stop earlier this month. BJ (Nick's younger sister) was briefly shown on the show (from September) at a radio station. She could be heard talking as well.

Unfortunately, I don't have any news on Aaron Carter ot the Backstreet Boys right now, so here's the scoop on my trip.

A possible date has been reported for Aaron doing a show June 14th at the Lionel Roberts Stadium in St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands. Apparently it's the same day as something called "Flag Day," so maybe Aaron is part of this?! Let me know if you have any more info!

AARON CARTER'S episode of "Family Affair" aired tonight, and Aaron did an AWESOME JOB! He was GREAT! and he looked so much like Nick with his hair-cut! He played a sophomore named Liam who asked Sissy out on her first date, but her dad didn't approve of it. GREAT job, Aaron! To see the trailor of the episode, click here.

Aaron Carter is a host on ABC Family's "Limited Too's What's-Your-Wish" on March 14th (It rpeeats on the 16th, 22nd, 27th & April 9th). Wishes rewarded include bowling in the Florida Keys with Aaron! The March 14th show is on ABC Family at 4PM EST!

On "The Early SHow" the other morning, the hosts were talking about "Camp Sumemr Stage," and they mentioned that Aaron Carter will be starring in it! They talked about how it was Aaron's first movie and that the filming will take place in the Gainesonville, Florida, area.

SOME BAD NEWS ABOUT BACKSTREET BOY AJ MCLEAN...

When AJ's engagement to Sarah Martin broke off, the couple said it was because they weren't sure they were ready. But, in a recent interview with AJ, we learn the truth...Fans will remember in July 2001 when AJ went into rehab for alcohol abuse. Well, AJ's mom told him that she wouldn't attend the wedding nuptuals because she disapproved of the relationship, because she felt it should have been kept just as a business relationship, and nothing else. This made AJ upset, so he raided his friend's house and stole some marijuana and perscription drugs, and used them, thus giving up on his near-two-year being sober. This upset Sarah, AJ's fiancée very much. And as though things couldn't get any worse, in January AJ stayed late recording in the studio and ended up having an affair with one of the AA producers. Sarah questioned AJ about what happened, then called the producer who told her everything. AJ maintained that he did it only for sex, but the wedding was called off immediately, and since then, Sarah has moved out. AJ is now very upset by this, and it can clearly be seen in a recent article about him, which you can read for yourself by clicking here. Don't give up, AJ! My thoughts are with you, and I will continue to support you!

Aaron Carter has been named a celebrity co-Grand Marshal of this year's extravagant KREWE OF ENDYMION 37th ANNUAL MARDI GRAS parade. The Krewe will be traveling on the traditional St. Charles Avenue route Saturday afternoon, March 1, beginning at 4PM and winding its way through the streets of New Orleans, ending up in the Louisiana Superdome at 8:30 p.m. There, Aaron Carter and the Carter family will be greeted by 15,000 formally attired revelers, who will be entertained by Kool and the Gang, Creedence Clearwater Revisited and others. According to VH1, Aaron will be performing at Bayside Stadium at Seaworld in Orlando, Florida on May 9th, BUT, it's not open to the general public, because it's a special show for 8th grade GradNite! The park will close to the public and then re-open from 7-12PM for GradNite.

Backstreet Boy Howie Dorough will be in Long Island on Saturday to host a private benefit breakfast for his Dorough Lupus Foundation. Nick Carter did an AMAZING job on the second part of "8 Simple Rules For Dating My Teenage Daughter!" In part two, Brigette goes to Ben (Nick)'s dorm, where she finds him with another girl. They basically argue about Brigette's parents until they come and talk to her about the break-up.

FINALLY, there's a DATE for Aaron Carter's appearence on "Family Affair"..."Family Affair" will air on March 13th at 8:00PM EST on the WB! This epsisode is called "Sissy's Big Fat Moroccan First Date" and the script goes a little somethin' like this: When Uncle Bill (Gary Cole) forbids Sissy (Caitlin Wachs) from going on her first date alone with one of her classmates, Liam (guest star Aaron Carter), she devises a plan to get what she wants. Sissy learns a lesson though when her date doesn't go as smoothly as intended. PLEASE NOTE: The February 27th date is wrong. That is when it would have aired IF the show wasn't cancelled for a while.

Nick Carter did an AMAZING job on "8 Simple Rules For Dating My Teenage Daughter!" Nick played Ben, who taught Brigette to play the drums. In part one of the two-part segment featuring Nick, Ben starts to teach Brigette to play the drums, and the two become more than friends (In Brigette's eyes, anyway). But, Ben leaves to go to college, and Brigette is left trying to figure out how to get him back. Catch the conclusion on February 11th on ABC!

Kevin Richardson did an amazing job yesterday on The Caroline Rhea Show! He played a funny game with the audience and answered questions. He also announced that when he is done his run on Broadway, the Backstreet Boys will reunite to record a new album!

Nick Carter will be featured on a new show on MTV2 called "Breaking The Law," which features celebrities who have been arrested and jailed for crimes they committed. Check the Dates To Remember page for times.

==>*SPACE SHUTTLE COLUMBIA TRAGEDY!*<==

The American flag flys at half-mast after the space shuttle Columbia disintegrated 39 miles over Texas yesterday. It was re-entering the atmosphere after a 16-day mission, when NASA lost contact with the shuttle. It was 17 years, almost to the day, when the space shuttle Challenger exploded, on January 28th, 1986. The exact cause of the disintegration is unknown, but it is currently being investigated by a private investigation party. It is believed that part of the heater fell off as the Columbia was leaving Earth, and when it was coming back, it hit it. Tragically, all seven astronauts were lost in this event.

I would like to extend my deepest sympathy and sorrows to the victems and the families of the victems of the space shuttle Columbia. I was devestated when I heard President George W. Bush's speech, "The Columbia is lost." My thoughts and prayers are with you as the investigation continues and as you try to find peace after these tragic events.

Aaron and Nick Carter will appear in an upcoming safety video aimed at popularizing the use of life jackets by boaters and anglers. The video is produced by the "Personal Flotation Device Manufacturers Association (PFDMA)" under a grant from the United States Coast Guard. The grant project calls for production of two educational videos, one targeted to consumers, and the other to the boating safety community, including those who retail boating safety equipment. Aaron and Nick are the lead-in to the segment of the video that features actions sports, water skiing, wakeboarding and tubing, and underline the importance of wearing life jackets while on the water. Some news about Aaron Carter's appearence on "Family Affair"...The show has been cancelled for the last while, and it is currently not listed at tvguide.com. But, the show will start up again on February 27th with a brand new episode. Hopefully, they will still air Aaron's episode, which will likely now be in March. "Family Affair" airs Thursday evenings on the WB. Again, Aaron plays Liam, Sissy's first date.

KEVIN & BRIAN'S GRANDFATHER PASSED AWAY!

Harold Baker "Hollywood" Littrell, Sr, passed away on Tuesday January 14th, 2003, at the ago of 83. In his obituary, it states that he left behind sins and daughters (Brian's mom and dad and Kevin's mom), grandchildren (Kevin and Kristen, Brian and Leighanne), and two great-grandchildren (Baylee), among others. The funeral service was Friday and Brian and Kevin served as the pallbearers, as well as his other sons and grandsons. To read the complete obituary, Click here. Sarah and Alex have called off their wedding, and have sent out their appologies to anyone that has been inconvenienced. It was also stated that they appreciated everyone's kindness and support during this time of privacy.

I support AJ and Sarah's decision because if they aren't ready, for whatever reason, they are human, and things do come up. Fans should also note that nothing has been said about a break-up, just that the wedding has been called off, so I encourage everyone to support them in their decision.

Aaron Carter did an AMAZING job performing a tribute to the BeeGees, by singing Andy Gibb's hit 70s song "I Just Want To Be Your Everything" on the "Disco Ball" special tonight! He looked so cute in that 70s suit...he's starting to look so much like Nick! Lol.

"Another Earthquake" is expected to be released January 24th in Australia as a double CD.

The episodes of "8 Simple Rules For Dating My Teenage Daughter" that feature Nick Carter that were supposed to air in the winter will now air on February 4th and February 11th. Nick will play Bridget's music teacher.

TWO MEN HAVE BEEN CHARGED FOR STEALING THE IDENTITIES OF MEMBERS OF NEW KIDS ON THE BLOCK AND THE BACKSTREET BOYS!

Two Massachusetts men, who visited Las Vegas last year passed themselves off as members of New Kids on the Block and the Backstreet Boys to obtain Nevada driver's licenses and credit cards in the pop stars' names, according to a federal indictment unsealed this week.

Patrick P. Ward, 23, and Michael Viskovic, 20, are accused of spending at least $1,000 each with those credit cards in November.

"The indictment doesn't say anything about the Backstreet Boys or New Kids, but it's their names they used," said Natalie Collins, a spokeswoman for the U.S. attorney's office in Las Vegas.

Ward and Viskovic face felony charges of identity theft, credit card fraud and Social Security fraud. Ward was arrested by postal inspectors and local police Thursday in Athol, Mass. Authorities were still searching for Viskovic.

The pair used false Social Security numbers to obtain licenses from the Nevada Department of Motor Vehicles, an indictment unsealed Wednesday in U.S. District Court in Las Vegas states.

Viskovic is accused of obtaining a driver's license in the name of Daniel William Wood, another member of the group, as well as a driver's license and American Express credit card in the name of Kevin Scott Richardson, a singer for the Backstreet Boys.

Ward made his initial court appearance Thursday in Springfield, Mass., and is expected to be returned to Las Vegas following an identity hearing Monday, Collins said.

Amazon.com has two new Aaron Carter import CDs. The first one, released November 2002, is a double CD. If I understand correctly, it comes with "Aaron's Party (Come Get It)" and "Oh Aaron." And for some reason, the record label is not JIVE. Backstreet Boy AJ McLean made a statement earlier this week that stated that the Backstreet Boys' next album WILL BE THEIR LAST! It is currently UNKNOWN whether the group is BREAKING UP. It could have been a refrence to the Backstreet Boys' last album with JIVE RECORDS, which makes sense, since they are shopping for a new label. Also, this statement was made right after the Backstreet Boys filed their lawsuit against Jive, so it could be refrence to that. The Backstreet Boys have said that they still want to produce music together, and that they will continue the group for as long as possible. So don't worry just yet!

Aaron was mentioned on VH1's "All Access: All Grown Up" lastnight, which was a repeat of a previous airdate. While they were talking about Nick, one woman said, "It's really funny because Nick Carter, when he first came to us five or six years ago, he looked exactly like his brother Aaron Carter does now." A small part of "I'm All About You" was also played! Check local listings for repeats.

Backstreet Boy Kevin Richardson will appear as lawyer Billy Flynn in the music "Chicago" on Broadway, starting January 20th at Shubert Theatre and then move with it to the Ambassador Theatre January 29th. He'll probably stay there for the month of February and leave around the first weeks of March (Possible March 9th) to start recording the Backstreet Boys' new album.

Meet the newest Backstreet Boy: Baylee Thomas Wylee Littrell.

Baby Baylee, the spawn of Backstreeter Brian Littrell and wife Leighanne, made his grand entrance Tuesday November 26th, 2002 at 7:41 p.m. in Atlanta, Georgia, tipping the scales at 6 pounds, 7 ounces.

According to band spokeswoman Sonia Muckle, "both Mom and baby are doing well."

In a brief statement, the newbie parents said, "God has blessed our family in so many ways, and we are proud and very excited to welcome our new healthy baby boy into the world."

Littrell, 27, becomes the first Backstreeter with his very own brood.

He and Wallace, 33, have been married for two years. They met while shooting the band's 1997 video "As Long As You Love Me," in which she was an extra.

She has also appeared in such TV series as Silk Stalkings and One Life to Live. They became engaged in 1999 and reside in suburban Atlanta.

His bandmate (and cousin) Kevin Richardson is the only other married Backstreeter, tying the knot with dancer Kristin Willits just three months before Littrell.

A third member, A.J. McLean, will tip the Backstreet balance from bachelor- to hitched-heavy in January, when he's scheduled to walk the aisle with his steady, singer Sarah Jo Martin. The two became engaged last December.

Nick Carter and Howie Dorough are the remaining unbetrothed Boys.

Aside from making babies, Littrell has been plotting two big projects with his bandmates: the follow-up to 2000's Black & Blue and a just-filed $100 million lawsuit against their record company seeking to void their contract.

The Backstreet Boys have filed a $75 MILLION lawsuit against the Zomba Recording Corperation, the parent label to Jive Records!! The lawsuit, which was filed on Monday November 25th, alleges "breach of contract, intentional interference with contract, trademark infringement, and unfair competition and seeks to void all stipulations remaining from the group's 1994 contract with Zomba." 2 months and 18 days after the release of Aaron's album "Another Earthqake," Aaron is already working on his NEXT album! (But who's counting?!) :)

There is currently a commercial being aired for "The Foundation For A Better Life." (I'm not sure if it's just Canadian, I've only seen it on Canadian channels so far, though.) Anyway, they show a boy with his mother and the boy is trying to learn how to do different things including tennis and singing, and his mother is always there to support him. Anyway, the song that's played throughout the whole commerical, and the one the boy is singing at the end is The Backstreet Boys' song "The Perfect Fan," which Brian wrote for his mom! It's too cute...check it out if you can! :)

Tomorrow (November 20th) is WORLD CHILDREN'S DAY! Nick Carter participated in a concert to benefit this event. This day was established to honour the children of the world. Please celebrate by helping children worldwide.

*** BJ CARTER UPDATE ***

BJ (Bobbie Jean - one of Aaron's older sisters) called into a radio station on the morning of November 14th to discuss and clarify what happened Halloween night--October 31, 2002. ACCORDING TO BJ--she spent October 31st with family and she had a few drinks. Work with me here--BJ is 20, almost 21. The Carter family is a famous family, never-the-less, they are a TYPICAL family. Later that night BJ (who was NOT driving), and younger sister Angel got out of a car. There were many girls around the area (why, I don't know), and Angel started in on typical teenage "talk," and it resulted in a few of the girls there to approach BJ and Angel. BJ was protecting her younger sister and said they had to go thru her before they got to Angel. The few girls gave BJ some kicks and swings, and BJ ended up on the ground. When she got back up, as she claims, it was her "human instinct" to fight back, and she did. When officers arrived at the incident, they knew exactly who BJ was, and because of her family's famous profile, things were assumed and not disscussed as properly as they should have been. BJ was eventually arrested, and bailed out by her mother--Jane. BJ says she is doing better and will get thru this.
I thank you all for your concern, and please keep the family in your prayers--they will get thru this. Out of respect for the Carter family, this is all I will be saying on the issue. I chose to disregard all information until I knew what information was legit. Works best for all parties involved, especially the Carters.

Kinda late, but just one more comment about Nick Carter's appearence on The TOnight Show With Jay Leno. During the interview afterward, Dennis Miller knocked the chair over as Nick came on because he said the Nick got more applause than he ever did in his whole life. :) Also, during the interview, Nick and Jay were talking about the quintuplets that were on before Nick, and Nick started talking about his family, about how Aaron was a singer (Jay replied saying that he knew Aaron because he had been on the show) and how Aaron had a twin sister! It was a cool interview! Nick's episode, the one I was just talking about, SHOULD repeat on Thursday OR Friday early in the morning!

Nick also did a GREAT job performing "Help Me" on The Late Show It Craig Kilborne. Craig was using Nick to make his audience hyper, so whenever a guest came out, they's play a song from "Now Or Never!"

Nick Carter did an AMAZING job on "The Tonight Show With Jay Leno" last night! Right before Nick, there was an interview with the only set of 5 male quintuplets. Jay asked them which one wanted to be Nick Carter and they all started jumping. Actually, they were bouncing around most of the interview, they were only 6-years-old, but they all seemed to like the suggestion. Jay also joked that they represented what the Backstreet Boys looked like when they first started. Nick performed "Help Me," and he really rocked out to the song! Howie Dorough and his family were presented with the Inspiration Award by The United Catholic Music & Video Association. They were given this award because of all the effort they have put forth in helping find a cure for the disease LUPUS. As you probably know, Howie's sister Carolyn died of the disease in 1998.

Launch Music has 8 photos from the "Do You Remember" video shoot earlier this month... no word yet on when we will be seeing the video on TV.

Unfortunetly, it has been reported that at least part, but possibly all dates on Aaron's Overseas Tour are cancelled because of the attack on Bali...Tickets are refundable...For those that aren't aware, the Bali attack was, in a way, Australia's Version Of September 11th. My thoughts go out to the victems of the attack.

Aaron Carter's Summertime" is at #8 this week on the Hitlist and Nick Carter's "Help Me" stays at #1! And on the "You Asked For It" segment, they played "Everybody (Backstreet's Back)!" The rumor that Aaron's father, Bob Carter, has cancer is NOT TRUE. He was in the hospital due to a bad case of the flu. Bob Carter is fine, and is resting like anyone else would in his situation.

Word has it that Aaron's next single will be "Keep Believing." The video will be shot later this month (Possibly later this week, or sometime next week) in New York City! Sounds really cool!

Aaron is in the November issue of Popstar! Magazine. Some great photos (Again) of Aaron and twin sister Angel, along with an interview... and the announcement that there will be an "Official Aaron Carter Magazine" available on newstands on November 1st!

On September 28th, the 'Rock, Rap & Retro' tour concluded in Aaron's hometown of Marathon, FL with a special concert and all proceeds going to charity. Unfortunately, Aaron's promotional tour to the UK this month has cancelled. However, the plan is now to visit the UK in early 2003--January/February.

Aaron did a voice for a character on today's episode of "Liberty's Kids!" Aaron was the voice of Joseph Plumb Martin, a soldier training at Valley Forge in December 1778. Aaron's character was shown cooking pastery and singing "No meat, no soldiers," with another soldier. He was also shown dragging a matress, and he stopped to talk to Sarah and James about Baron Fredrich Von Steuben, whom he didn't like. And he was shown lastly, at the end, when the troups are training, Aaron's character runs and tells Gereral Washington that he spotted a British spy. It was really cool to watch! It will re-air sometime NEXT WEEK, possibly as early as Monday or Tuesday. Be sure to check it out!

Tonight on a Canadian TV channel, during a news brief type thing while in commercial, they advertised www.Canada.com and in the upper right side of the screen there was the "Another Earthquake" logo and the headshot of the album cover! It's not there anymore on the website though.

"Another Earthquake" falls to #88 on the Billboard 200 Chart in America this week and "Disneymania" falls to #96. "Another Earthquake" is off the Soundscan Chart in Canada.

The organization is running a fundraiser called MASK PROJECT 2, which raises money by creating and auctioning off clay masks designed or autographed by various celebrities. Aaron's mask is autographed, but was painted by a local Michigan artist. It is not a replica of Aaron's face, but it is pretty cool! You can bid on Aaron's mask here (as well as see a photo). Aaron will be one of the artists performing for a two-hour special which will be shot on October 13th at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles called "The Disco Ball"--so obviously Aaron will be perfoming a disco song!

I got my copy of Aaron Carter's new album, "Another Earthquake," today...it's AMAZING! I love it! I think the only difference between the Canadian album and the American album is that the American album has samples of Nick's songs, where the Canadian one doesn't. It still has the bonus track "Sugar," which is VERY COOL! I LOVE IT! If you haven't already, GO GET IT NOW!

Aaron did good on "CNN Headline News!" He talked about his new album, a little bit about the tour, and how he got to where he is today! "Summertime" is a single for Radio Disney only, but his main single is "To All The Girls," and you can catch Aaron performing the song September 12 on "Live With Regis & Kelly!"

Aaron Carter will be on CNN's Headline News talking about his new album "Another Earthquake" and his tour! You can catch it TOMORROW, September 2nd at 3:40PM EST. Check Local listings... this is what was suppose to air a while ago!

Be sure to watch the debut of LIBERTY'S KIDS tomorrow! And, YES, it WILL air in Canada! In Canada, it was air at 9:30am, 12:30pm and 5:30 on PBS-B. It will air at 5:00pm and 5:30pm on PBS-D. Please note that the show will air at 5:30pm on a DAILY basis. But tomorrow, 2 different episodes will air! The 2 episodes on PBS-D are different! The debut (The first episode) features Benjamin Franklin's apprentices (One is SUPPOSED to be Aaron Carter), witness revolutionary war events. The Boston Tea Party is the concept of BOTH the episodes! The different episode that airs at 5:30 will start the regular airing schedule on Tuesday, that is the episode that will air!

The soundclips work better and the video for "summertime" is available in Windows Media and Real Media, instead of Quicktime.

From what I understand, the Canada/USA version of "Another Earthquake" will have the bonus track "Sugar," but the Singapor/Asian version will have a different bonus track, which is called " "You Get To My Heart."

Although "Summertime" will be released to radio and other media stations, the single will only be available comercially for sale in Japan!

Aaron is doing a benefit concert for the "Grace Jones Day Care" in Marathon, FL on the September 28th, and preceeding the show will be a meet and greet for a limited number of guests (100). They are trying to sell as many tickets as possible as this money goes to the charity--a daycare for underpriveliged kids! So, if you're thinking about going, go get tickets now! It's going to be an AMAZING show and the money goes to a wonderful cause!

Just to clear up the Aaron Carter movie rumors...Since May, there has been word that Aaron will be doing Dreamworks' version of "Peter Pan." This is not true, atleast not anymore--Aaron chose between the tour or the movie, and he chose the tour. HOWEVER, Aaron recently said on "Good Day Live," a news station in LA, that he will be working on a movie called "Future Force" in the Fall. So that will be Aaron's movie--unless things change.

Aaron now has 9 dancers for his upcoming tour! They have been rehearsing throughout July in Florida, and are ready to start the tour on August 6! All the dancers from the "Winter Party Tour," except for Jeff, are still Aaron's dancers! The new dancers are from Miami and Canada.

Yesterday in LA, Aaron taped an episode of "All That," which will air sometime in September, and performed a new song--"To All The Girls." Click here for more info!

For an online survey, called "Hair Cuttery National Kids Survey," done in June at www.haircuttery.com, kids voted for their favorite "Girls" and "Boys" hairstyles from a list of eight nominees. When the votes were tabulated, Mary-Kate & Ashley Olsen took the top spot in the Favorite Girls Hairstyle, while Aaron Carter was voted Favorite Boys Hairstyle! Yahoo!

Okay, just to clear up a rumor...For a while now, there has been talk of Aaron doing another guest star role on "Lizzie Mcguire." This WAS true, but since Aaron and Hilary Duff (who plays Lizzie) broke up (Yes, they dated for a while), the guest star role has been changed to Frankie Muniz! I don't know if they're going out, and it doesn't matter to me. The episode with Frankie (not Aaron) airs August 23rd if you stil lwanna check it out.

Best Buy currently only has 6 songs listed for "Another Earthquake." They should be updating that soon; I doubt there would only be 6 songs!

Back in May, Spectra Management Inc. held dancer auditions for Aaron's National Summer Tour starting in August. This means Aaron likely has NEW dancers!

Aaron and Nick are in "Teen Celebrity Presents Famous Families" (with the Osbournes on the cover). The Carter brothers have a couple pinups, a bunch of small photos, and a long article.

Aaron and Nick are also in the September issue of "Teen People" in a picture in 'Star Tracks.'

Aaron wasn't on "All That" lastnight as it was planned, but he should be on there August 7 and 11. They will be repeats.

Aaron & No Secret's Mag-A-Music is already available at certain Wal*Mart stores! The official release date isn't until Tuesday.

Aaron is POPTASTIC according to the recent 1ST ANNUAL POPSTAR MAGAZINE AWARDS! Aaron won the "Most Kissable Guy" and "Poptastic Male Singer" awards in the first annual Popstar Magazine Awards! He was also Runner-Up for the catagories "Hair-To-Die-For," "Sexy Style Male," Poptastic Four-Star Song Right Now," and Honorable Mention for the categories "Poptastic Four-Star CD Right Now," and "Poptastic Four-Star Video Right Now"! Also, the Backstreet Boys took 4th Place for "Poptastic Group!"

Okay, there's a weird rumor going around that Aaron had to get braces for a week or two. That rumor I really doubt that this rumor is true. But, I haven't been able to get 'Official confirmation.' But Aaron IS NORMAL, so things like that can happen!

On the "Independance Day With A Capitol Fourth" special, Aaron performed a duet with the new country music singer Kayla, "Looking At Life Through My Own Eyes", the title song for the new PBS series, Liberty Kids. Liberty Kids will debut on September 2, 2002.

If you live in Canada, catch the July 5/6 repeat on the Hitlist because they are re-airing the "Aaron Carter Special" from March 2002!

If you're wondering why you can't find the "Mag-A-Music" in ANY store it's because the release date got pushed back to July 16.

The Lizzie McGuire special "Here Comes Aaron Carter" will repeat on FRIDAY JUNE 21st at 7:30PM ET on Disney.

Some info on the "Liberty Kids" show...Liberty's Kids is set in Philadelphia. The story line begins in 1773 and ends in 1787. It follows the adventures of James and Sarah, two young teens working as apprentices in Ben Franklin's print shop. Walter Cronkite will star as the voice of Franklin. Other historical figures will be played by Michael Douglas, Whoopi Goldberg, Dustin Hoffman and Aaron Carter.

Extra showed about 1 second of Aaron onstage at "Wango Tango" on yesterday's episode. Entertainment Tonight showed about 3 seconds!

The trailer for "Hey Arnold: The Movie" is airing on TV... playing Aaron's "How I Beat Shaq" and "Come Follow Me."

Word has it that BMG Entertainment may buy-out the Zomba Recording Corperation. Zomba is the largest independant label, and it features Aaron Carter and the Backstreet Boys as well as acts like Britney Spears and *N Sync. This will most likely not affect anyone. In 1991, BMG bought out 25% of Zomba, and nothing major happened. The Wall Street Journal estimated the deal as being in the area of $3 Billion!

Aaron Carter's NEXT album (not yet titled) is expected to be released August 20, 2002! JUST over a year since the release of "Oh Aaron." Aaron has recorded about 10 songs, and 2 Aaron has mentioned are "Do You Remember?" (a slow-ish song), and "Looking At Life Through My Own Eyes." Two other song possibilities are "Get To Your Heart" and "My First Ride." I will soon have a page with more info.

Aaron will be on a Nickelodeon Special at the end of August.

The YTV's Hitlist "Aaron Carter Special" from Nashville, TN, during Aaron's Winter Party Tour, will repeat on July 5 and 6!

Aaron was mentioned on Canada's Much More Music the other morning during their news headlines that are at the bottom of the screen while music videos play. They wrote about Aaron's Summer Tour hitting Ontario, Canada on September 9!

The dates have changed as to when PBS's TV animated series, "Liberty Kids" hits a TV screen near you. It's now scheduled to air Fall of 2002--5 days a week, for 2 years! Aaron will be the voice of Benjamin Franklin's apprentice James Hiller. Aaron also does the theme song.

www.amazon.com has a new listing for a book, called "Brotherhood." It was written by Backstreet Boy Nick Carter and published by MTV Books. It is set to be published September 1, 2002. Nick will be telling about his relationship with younger brother Aaron Carter, and Aaron has likely contributed to the book as well.

The PBS TV animated series, "Liberty Kids" (Or "Liberty Bell" is expected to begin Memorial Day (May 27)! The show airs 5 days a week for 2 years. Aaron will be the voice of Benjamin Franklin's apprentice James Hiller. Aaron also does the theme song. Check local listings for the time of the show!

As you may know, Nick & Aaron Carter's dad, Bob, was supposed to be racing Nick's boat, but he hasn't been. This is because Bob suffered a bad back injury. Get Well Soon!

Backstreet Boy AJ McLean is being sued! A women went to a concert in early 2002 and AJ threw his shirt at the audience. The shirt got wrapped around the woman's neck and she suffered a bad injury, which required surgery and now requires a disk. She is suing him because of humiliation, saying that AJ should not have thrown the shirt because he knew that fans would rush to try to get it. The woman waited so long because she was hoping to settle out of court.

Aaron Carter and No Secrets are doing a "Mag A Music" thing--its a Magazine with a plastic cover over it which will include a CD sampler. The magazine will be half Aaron and half No Secrets. The CD sampler will feature 3 NEW songs each from Aaron and No Secrets! It comes out in early July--watch for it!

Friday/Saturday's episode of the HITLIST played "Aaron's Party (Come Get it)" and showed part of an interview with Aaron and Nick from 1998. It was part of their show called "May-nia"... next week the weekly Hitlist Countdown will continue, so keep voting for Aaron and the Backstreet Boys!

Before Aaron left on the cruise Sunday night, he was at home, in the Florida Keys, recording in the Carter's own studio. Well, one of the celebraties Aaron impersonates is Emenim. To pretend to be him, Aaron posed like a picture J-14 had of Emenim, giving the middle. So when Aaron copied it, Aaron held up the middle finger as well. It's censored (Obviousley). It's funny...check it out!

It is to recognize the day that Aaron's career first started, when he signed his record deal, after appearing with the Backstreet Boys in Berlin, Germany, on March 5th, 1997. It's been 5 years since Aaron has been recording, and because he's only 14, that really is something to be proud of! Okay, on Hitlist o Friday/Saturday they showed Aaron's DEBUT video, Crush On You, and also the FIRST TIME they met the Backstreet Boys, back in 1995! It was SO funny...they were so young!

From what I heard, "Aaron Carter's Valentine's Party" is a SMASH! Nick and Aaron sing 3 songs: "Outstanding," "Oh Aaron" and "Not Too Young, Not Too Old." Also, Nick sings "I Need You Tonight" as well as Bryan Adams' song "Heaven." Aaron's performance is very upbeat, and features "I'm All About You," "Oh Aaron" and "Not Too Young, Not Too Old" from his new album, but it also features "Get Wild" and "Shake it" from his debut album and "AC's Alen Nation" from "Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius." And, of course, a lot of songs from "Aaron's party (ComeGet It)." There is also some behind-the-scenes footage, including Aaron playing the accordian, Aaron eating a 4-course spicy meal, and Aaron doing a 'hoe-down' live with the MAYOR! If you didn't already check it out, don't panic! It will continue airing through April 16th. Try to check it out...but it costs $19.95, so make sure you get your parents permission!

As I previously mentioned, Nick Carter WILL NOT face jail time relating to an incident on January 4th, where he was arrested after he refused to stop fighting with a woman at a night club. His punishment was reduced, because he was a first timeoffender. This is his punishment:

-He will have to pay a $290.00 fine
-He will have to perform 16 hours of community service
-He will have 3 months of probation
-He will have to write a letter of apology to the officers who arrested him

On Friday, Backstreet Boys slipped to #2 with "Drowning." "Oh Aaron" is off the charts, "Not Too Young, Not Too Old" is #23, "Leave It Up To Me" stays at #3, and "I'm All About You" is #1!!! This is the second single Aaron has had as #1 since September! Go Aaron!!

Okay, here's some information about the Backstreet Boys' apperance on "Arthur."

They will appear on a one-hour special called "It's Only Rock 'N' Roll." Howie and Brian will be rabbit-like characters and Nick, A.J. and Kevin will be bear-like characters. The concept is that the Backstreet Boys are set to perform in Elwood City. All the group is fans of the band and Muffie has a crush on Nick Carter. The only exception is Francine. Francine doesn't like the Backstreet Boys, so she forms a rival band called U-Stink. [Wonder how they came up with that name :)].

The show is set to air in August or September.

Well, I think everyone's heard the news about Nick Carter. On Friday, Jay Leno said during The Tonight Show With Jay Leno that "Some tragic news. In Tampa Florida, the youngest member of the Backstreet Boys, Nick Carter, was arrested for resisting arrest. Well, 1 down, 4 to go! Also, that's not the kinda story you wanna tell in prison (Talking in a squeaky voice) 'I'm a Backstreet Boy.' In prison, 'Backstreet' means a completely different thing!" It was just a joke, though! :)

YTV's Hitlist aired the Top 10 videos of 2001 on Friday and Saturday...The Backstreet Boys' "More Than That" got #7. Aaron Carter's "Not Too Young, Not Too Old" got #5, which beat out *N Sync [Sorry, just had to mention that :)] And, the NUMBER ONE video was The Backstreet Boys' "Drowning!" Congtrats guys! Also, when they were showing flashbacks, the Backstreet Boys' "Quit Playing Games (With My Heart)" was #1 in 1997, and "Shape Of My Heart" was #1 in 2000. Also, in 1998, the #1 video was the Brave All-Stars with "Let The Music Heal Your Soul!" Cool, huh?

Here's Nick Carter's statement regarding his arrest:

"I have done nothing wrong, I truly believe my celebrity motivated the officer to arrest me. The officer said my name aloud during the incident. I am certain that after a full investigation of the facts my name will be cleared" -- Nick Carter in a statement released late Thursday through publicist Courtney Barnes.

Also, the situation is pretty bad, worser than you may have thought. I did some research, and if convicted, Nick could face ONE YEAR in PRISON as well as a $500 FINE! Hope things get cleared up!

On a more positive note, the Backstreet Boys have been nominated for a Grammy Award for their performance of Shape Of My Heart from the Black & Blue album. The award is in the Best Pop Performance By A Duo Or Group With Vocal category. Other nominees in this category include Five For Fighting, *NSYNC, R.E.M. and U2.

Aaron's big brother Nick Carter didn't start the new year off on a happy note. He was arrested! Here's the story:

TAMPA, Fla. –– Backstreet Boy Nick Carter was arrested on suspicion of refusing to follow police officers' orders to leave a nightclub after a fight broke out.

The youngest of the five-member pop group at age 21, Carter was charged early Wednesday with a misdemeanor count of resisting/opposing a law enforcement officer without violence. He was handcuffed, placed in a squad car and released on his own recognizance.

His first court appearance is set for March 4, Tampa Police spokesman Joe Durkin said Thursday. Police were called to the Pop City nightclub early Tuesday evening because of a fight. They returned to the nightclub later in the night to break up another disturbance. While officers made arrests and tried to restore peace, Carter became involved in an argument with a woman, according to the arrest affidavit.

He was told to leave the nightclub more than 10 times until officers told him to leave by "the count of 3" or he would be arrested. Carter continued the argument and was arrested, the affidavit said. "Outside of who this defendant is, it's not that unusual a thing to happen," Durkin said.

Carter, who lives outside Tampa, is the second Backstreet Boy to run into trouble in recent months. In July, A.J. McLean spent time at a rehabilitation center for depression and alcohol abuse, forcing the group to postpone its U.S. and Canadian tour. McLean, who turns 24 next week, has said he's been sober ever since.

Sonya Muckle, vice president of publicity for Jive Records, the Backstreet Boys' label, did not immediately return a phone call seeking comment Thursday.

"Oh Aaron" falls to #46 on Billboard!

Hitlist has now started counting down it's top 20 videos of the year. So far, Aaron Carter's "I'm All About You" was #20, which is good, considering that it was only on the charts a few weeks! The Backstreet Boys' "The Call" got #12. The top 10 will air on Friday and Saturday. As far as I know, both Aaron and BSB should have some videos in the top ten! Go guys!

If you have a GOOD SENSE OF HUMOUR, you might want to check out the re-run of "Fromage '01" on MuchMusic when it comes on! Even though this is technically BAD, it's funny what the host says about Aaron and BSB. Aaron was named "Cheeziest Boy Video" for "Not Too Young, Not Too Old." He also got "Cheeziest Video of the Year" for that song! Backstreet Boys got #5 for "More Than That" and #3 for "Drowning" in the "Cheeziest Boyband Ballad" category. They also got #3 for "The Call" in the "Cheeziest Boyband Dance Routine" category. It's pretty funny!

The Hitlist played "Crazy Little Party Girl" during their Christmas Special this week!

Aaron and his family are planning to go to Denver, CO during the Christmas holidays so Aaron can have some fun in the snow again!

Aaron was on "Slime Time Live" again earlier this week - and as far as I know, it was pretty brief(?) He spoke about how he had been going back and forth from LA to Florida this past week, and was having a hard time keeping track of the time.

If you've gone to see "Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius" [opened in theaters Friday - make sure to go see it], most likely you saw the trailer for the upcoming Nick Films motion picture, "Hey Arnold! The Movie." During the preview, they played both Aaron's 'How I Beat Shaq' and 'Come Follow Me.' There are good chances that both of these songs will appear on that motion picture soundtrack, as it will be released on Jive/Nick Records.

During Aaron's TEENick Summer Tour, Aaron filmed a pay-per-view concert in Baton Rouge, LA. It's been a while since we heard anything about this, but it will air February 16, 2002! The program is called "Aaron Carter's Valentines Party" - it's 90 minutes!
