Physical Description: The Lizardmen of Ashr'alan are separated physically by their roles in society. There are basically three classes that can be observed by their coloration and physical build. Their are the Kroagers, the Slaaduush, and the Senthass'th. The Kroager are the laborer class of the Lizardmen. Their skin tone ranges in a variety of light greens, with yellow spots dotting their flanks. The Kroagers are all extremely small compared to the other lizardmen, but they still maintain a great physical strength that suits there grueling physical tasks. The Senthass'th are the warriors of the Lizardmen. Their skin tone rangers from a blue grey, grey to black. Those Lizardmen who are born with black skin are deemed to be great generals among Lizardmen. The Senthass'th usually stand nearly seven feet tall, and are powerfully built, with humanoid bodies, armes and feet ending in powerful clawed hands, their bodies covered in thick plated scales. Their faces resemble very closely to crocodiles. The Slaaduush are the noble and clerical elite of the Lizardmen. The are all extremely fat, since they neither work nor war. They are considered preordained to rule their society, and serve as the communicators from the Lizardmen gods to the people. Their skin tone are usually dark greens to greenish brown, with molted brown spots on them. They usually stand some 8 feet tall, but may weigh so much with their great height they must be carried around on oranamental beds by Kroager slaves.
Culture/Society: The Lizardmen were the first great conquering society. Most other races have such information documented, except the elves. The Elves claim that they far predate the Lizardmen. However, it is clear that the Lizardmen were the first great conquerors, at one time holding most of the terriotories of the south, where the southern elves, and the current heart of the Maxum Empire now reigns. Many of their ancient cities and temples lay crumbling throughout Ashr'alan. It is not known exactly why they retreated back to their great swamps, but they seemingly vanished for some thousand years, only to recently have resurfaced, their great numbers overwhelming the elves of the South and taking much of their precious forests and felling them. They are known to consort with enemies of Maxima as well, and seem bent on takign back what they once owned.
