Phsyical Description:Trolls are considered by many military experts, to be the fastest, most devastating species on the face of the world. Their bodies are built for both strength and speed. They are build very lithe, but their muscles are incredibly powerful, allowing them to outdistance any being on foot. Trolls have a variety of skin tones, ranging from a pale yellow, to dark grey. Their skin can be smooth to crustaceous. Trolls pride themselves on their bodies, and consider themselves to be some of the most beautiful beings on ashr'alan (many other races would disagree). They tend to their long manes, which are usually black, and turn to white as they age. Trolls are very similar to the Ogres in build, having the unique hand structure, but they have four toes on their extremely large padded feet. This is presumably in order with their ability to run at great speeds. Trolls also have the notorious ability to be able to regenerate limbs, some even say their entire bodies. However, these great beings do have a weakness that often prevents them from reaking more havoc. Trolls have an innate weakness against bright, direct sunlight. The rays of the sun seem to degenerate their regenerating abliities, as well as weakening them physically.

Cuture/Society:Stormlords, Rockskins, Deadeyes, and Greenbloods: these are the names of the four clans in troll society. The Stormlords are seen as the spiritual leaders. All members of the Stormlords have flourescent yellow skin, and unique purple markings down their backs. They also have an innate ablity to create electrical discharges through their skin. This magical ability is seen as a gift from the gods and thus the trolls feel the Stormlords are inextricably tied to the gods, and thus represent their best hope for recieving instruction from the divine. The Rockskins are exactly what their clan name implies. These trolls are elite shocktroops in Troll society, due to their skin having a natural, crustaceaon like growth. This growth fucntions as great natural armor, and has been known to turn many blades. The Deadeyes are known for being the fastest, most agile among the trolls. They are most often placed as spies, or as special units in troll campaigns. The Deadeyes also have uncanny markmanship ablities with the Chokthgra, the troll axe like throwing weapon. It is speculated they have this ablitiy due to an increase in arm length compared to other trolls phisiology. Finally the Greenbloods are seen as the generals and noblity among trolls. Since recorded troll history, the Greenbloods have always ruled, and it seems that the trolls have no desire to change this, since jealousy among the clans is not prevalent. The trolls exist to wreak havoc upon those who would dare oppose them. They feel that they are the chosen among the races, since they were first created by the Vorsth'soon, and exist to enforce their will interpreted by the Stormlords. It has been postulated by many scholars the the Vorsth'soon and the Heazeron, the creators of the ogres, are one in the same.
