The Kiss

Moonbeams playing across the wall,

You stood quiet and motionless.

The light evening breeze rippling your hair.

Your face softened by the moonlight,

Gave your body a translucent look.

Your beauty transfixed me.

Your soft voice barely a whisper,

Blending with the sounds of the night

Called out beckoning me to come near.

I obeyed, placing my arms around your waist.

I drank in the fragrant smells,

Your body soft and warm to my touch.

Slowly you turned, looked up to me,

With your hand you drew me near.

Your eyes gazing into my soul.

Your soft lips touched mine in a kiss.

Burning passion spread throughout.

Inflaming the love I have for you.

Dedicated to my wife. I love you so.
