Midi is:Glory to His Name

Have you ever wondered how everything in the world was began?

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters. Then God said, "Let their be light"; and their was light. Se divided the light between light and darkness which He called light, day and darkness, night. So the evening and morning the first day. Then God said, "Let their be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters." And God called the firmament Heaven, So the evening and morning were the second day.

Then God said, "Let the waters under the heavens be gathered together into one place, and let the dry land appear." And God called the dry land Earth, and the gathering together of the waters He called Seas. Then God said, "Let the earth bring forth the grass, the herb that yields seed, and the fruit tree that yields fruit according to its kind, whose seed is in itself, on the earth"; So the evening and morning were the third day. Then God said, "Let their be light in the firmament to divide the day from night, and let them be for signs and seasons, and for days and years. And Let them be for lights in the firmament of the heavens to give light on the earth. Then God made two great lights, the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night. So the evening and morning were the fourth day.

Then God said, "Let the waters abound with an abundance of living creaters and let birds fly above the earth across the face of the firmament of the heavens." And God blessed them saying, "Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let the birds multiply on the earth. So the evening and morning were the fifth day. And then God said, "Let the earth bring forth the living creatures according to its kind. Then God said, "Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness, let them have dominion. "So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. Then God blessed them, and said to them, "Be fruitful and multiply, fill the earth and subdue it. So the evening and morning were the sixth day.

Thus the heavens and the earth, and all the host of them, were finished. He rested on the seventh day, God ended His work which He had done. God blessed the seventh day and sanctified it, because in it He rested from all His work, which God has created and made. This is the History of the heaven and the earth when they were created.

Many great men have tried explain these things. And they have came up with all sorts of strange ideas and suggestions, most of them far from the truth. There is only one place where you will find the true story, And that is in the Bible. If you will open this wonderful Book, you will find that the very first part is called Genesis, meaning the book of beginning. Hear you will find the answers to all your questions. God created the world out of his own image.

God did not need to ask. He knew where they were. But He wanted them to know that He was looking for them, that He still cared for them and loved them.
What tenderness there was in His voice at that moment! He seemed to be saying, "Why are you hiding from One who loves you so? Why don't you come to meet Me as you used to do?"

Unable to silent any longer, Adam stepped slowly from his hiding place and said, "I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid." Afraid!   What a strange thing for him to say! He had never been afraid before. He had never known what fear was. Now this grand, noble being, God's masterpiece of creation, was afraid. And, oh, most sorrowful thoughts, he was afraid of His Maker! But this is what sin does. It makes a person fear even his best friends. It turns the bravest man into a coward. It bows the noblest head in shame. God knew what had happened, for nothing is hidden from Him. But He asked Adam, "Hast thou eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded thee thast thou shouldest not eat?" Yes had eaten of the tree. So had Eve. Both were guilty of grave disobedience.

Sadly they stood before God, wondering what He would say next, what their penalty would be. God had wanted them, "In the day that thou eatest thereof, dying them shalt die." And they had often wondered what He had meant by those strange words. Never having seen death, they could not tell what it was like. Now were they to die?
Would today be their last day upon the earth? How sad! They had been here such a little while. Then it was that God had told them what must happen to them because of their sins. He explained how, from the very moment of their disobedience, they had begun to die. And in their hearts they knew it was true.

They could not live forever as He had planned they should. Eternal life was not for them. Not now. Dying they must die, returning at last to dust of which He had made them. It would take a long time, many of hundreds of years, in fact, but at least it would be their fate. Meanwhile, they would have to leave their beautiful home. Instead of the pleasant, easy time they had been having, they would have to work hard and long, for their living. They would know pain and sorrow. They would learn the awfulness of sin as they saw all nature suffer with them because of what they had done.

       Looking at Adam in deeper
pity, God said, "Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, thou shalt not eat it: cursed is the ground for thy shake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life: thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth tothee; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return."

Was God to hard on them? No. He knew the deadly nature of sin, how it wrecks and spoils everything it touches. He had seen it break the sweet harmony of heaven. Now it was beginning again on earth, threatening to ruin this glorious Paradise He had only just created. Something had to be done. Adam and Eve must be made to relize what sin means, what it does, and what it costs.

It was all very sad, and I don't know who felt worse as the two poor things turned from God and began to walk away from their beautiful Eden home. Darkness was gathering, and from out of the forest peered many animal friends, their wonder-filled eyes seeming to ask each other, What is the matter? Where are they going? Even the birds hushed their twittering as they listened in awe to the great, heartbroken sobs of their lord and master as he and his lovely wife walked out into the night.

For Adam and Eve the hardest to bear was the thought that they could not return. By morning Eden would only be a memory. They would never enter it again.  Turning to take one last look at all they had loved and
lost, they saw a strange light glowing in the darkness along the way that they had come. It seemed like a fiery weapon held in an angel's hand. And the flaming sword "turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life." The way was closed; the gate was locked. So great is the cost of one little sin!

    Who is Adam?

Adem is the first man, from whom is
descended all mankind. Created on the same day as the animals, he is particularly blessed by God. (Gen 1:27,28). He and Eve were driven from the Garden of Eden because of their disobedience (Gen 3:1-24).

    Who is Eve?

The first woman; wife of Adam (Gen 2:21-25);tempted by the serpent (Gen 3:1-5).

God told both Adam and Eve, to NOT eat of the fruit. therefore they had to die, like it say in Romans For the wages of sin is death.
