PRAYER IS IMPORTANT
Midi is:Mighty is our God
In Mark 11:23-24 it says, For assurdely, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, "be removed and be cast into the sea," and does not doubt in his heart, but beleives that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, beleive that you receive them, and you wil have them.
All you have to do is go in prayer with "God" ask and you shall receive. When everything you think is going your way and bam, it fall to peaces right in your face. When the mountain comes your way your not always preraired. Sometime this happens to me, because I could say I don't have enough faith in God. I can actually say this about myself, and I should have alot more faith in GOD then I do. Can anyone recite to this? I know I can. That is why i'm saying like Bible says in Mark "pray, ask and you shall receive."
In Mark 11:25 it says, And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him, that your Father in heaven may also forgive you your trasspasses. Always remember this verse, very important. God didn't just call for the "PREACHERS" to preach His word, but He called upon all of us to be preachers of His word. So that the ones that know and beleive in His word are here to teach the word to people that don't know Him, therefore they will. And rejoice in His holy name.
Take heed, Listen to what God has to say, listen carefully. Please pay heed, it could be you! And Jesus said to us "If you love me, keep my Commandments:" St. John 14:15
Listen To God's Whisper... Or Wait For The Brick! A young and successful executive was traveling down a neighborhood street, going a bit too fast in his new Jaguar. He was watching for kids darting out from between parked cars and slowed down when he thought he saw something. As his car passed, no children appeared. Instead, a brick smashed into the Jag's side door! He slammed on the brakes and drove the Jag back to the spot where the brick had been thrown. The angry driver then jumped out of the car, grabbed the nearest kid and pushed him up against a parked car shouting, "What was that all about and who are you? Just what the heck are you doing?
The Habit of Keeping a Clear Conscience
". . . strive to have a conscience without offense toward God and men" (Acts 24:16).
God's commands to us are actually given to the life of His Son in us. Consequently, to our human nature in which God's Son has been formed (see Galatians 4:19), His commands are difficult. But they become divinely easy once we obey.
Conscience is that ability within me that attaches itself to the highest standard I know, and then continually reminds me of what that standard demands that I do. It is the eye of the soul which looks out either toward God or toward what we regard as the highest standard. This explains why conscience is different in different people. If I am in the habit of continually holding God's standard in front of me, my conscience will always direct me to God's perfect law and indicate what I should do. The question is, will I obey? I have to make an effort to keep my conscience so sensitive that I can live without any offense toward anyone. I should be living in such perfect harmony with God's Son that the spirit of my mind is being renewed through every circumstance of life, and that I may be able to quickly "prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God" (Romans 12:2; also see Ephesians 4:23).
God always instructs us down to the last detail. Is my ear sensitive enough to hear even the softest whisper of the Spirit, so that I know what I should do? "Do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God . . ." (Ephesians 4:30). He does not speak with a voice like thunder -- His voice is so gentle that it is easy for us to ignore. And the only thing that keeps our conscience sensitive to Him is the habit of being open to God on the inside. When you begin to debate, stop immediately. Don't ask, "Why can't I do this?" You are on the wrong track. There is no debating possible once your conscience speaks. Whatever it is -- drop it, and see that you keep your inner vision clear.
"That's a new car and that brick you threw is going to cost a lot of money. Why did you do it?" The young boy was apologetic. "Please mister... please, I'm sorry... I didn't know what else to do!", he pleaded. "I threw the brick because no one else would stop..." With tears dripping down his face and off his chin, the youth pointed to a spot just around a parked car. "It's my brother," he said. "He rolled off the curb and fell out of his wheelchair and I can't lift him up." Now sobbing, the boy asked the stunned executive, "Would you please help me get him back into his wheelchair? He's hurt and he's too heavy for me. "Moved beyond words, the driver tried to swallow the rapidly swelling lump in his throat. He hurriedly lifted the handicapped boy back into the wheelchair, then took out his fancy handkerchief and dabbed at the fresh scrapes and cuts. A quick look told him everything was going to be okay. "Thank you and may God bless you," the grateful child told the stranger. Too shook up for words, the man simply watched the little boy push his wheelchair-bound brother down the sidewalk toward their home. It was a long, slow walk back to the Jaguar. The damage was very noticeable, but the driver never bothered to repair the dented side door. He kept the dent there to remind him of this message: Don't go through life so fast that someone has to throw a brick at you to get your attention! God whispers in our souls and speaks to our hearts. Sometimes when we don't have time to listen, He has to throw a brick at us. It's our choice: Listen to the whisper... or wait for the brick!
Let's Pray....
Dear Lord, I thank You for this day. I Thank You for my being able to see and to hear this morning. I'm blessed because You are a forgiving God and an understanding God. You have done so much for me and You keep on blessing me.
Forgive me this day for I have sinned. I ask now for Your forgiveness. Keep me safe from all danger and harm. Let me start this day with a new attitude and plenty of gratitude. Let me make the best of each and every day and give my best in all that is put before me. Clear my mind that I can hear from You. Broaden my mind that I can accept all things. Let me not whine and whimper over things I have no control over.
Let me continue to see sin through God's eyes and acknowledge it as evil. And when I sin, let me repent, and confess with my mouth my wrongdoing, and receive the forgiveness of God. And when this world closes in on me, let me remember Jesus' example-to slip away and find a quiet place to pray, it's the best response when I'm pushed beyond my limits. I know that when I can't pray, You listen to my heart.
Continue to use me to do Thy Will. Continue to bless me that I may be a blessing to others. Keep me strong that I may help the weak and unsaved. Keep me uplifted that I may have words of encouragement for others.
I pray for those that are lost and can't find their way. I pray for those that are misjudged and misunderstood. I pray for those who refuse to share a word from You. I pray for those who don't know You intimately. I pray for those that will only read this and not speak this aloud in their own lives. I pray for those that will delete this without sharing it with others. I pray for those that don't believe.
(But) I thank you, that I believe. I believe that God changes people and God changes things. I pray for all my sisters and brothers, and for each and every family member in their households. I pray for peace, love and joy in their homes, and that they are out of debt & all their needs are met. I pray that every eye that reads this knows there is no problem, circumstance, or situation greater than God. Every Battle is in His hands for Him to fight.
I pray that these words be received into the hearts of every eye that sees them and every mouth that confesses them willingly.
This is my prayer. In Jesus Name, Amen
FREE TO WIN
I pray that your soul stays careless and free
just like a butterfly, who has no worry, but glee
That you may be flexible, but strong in the faith
just like branches, which can stand a stormy race.
It's good to know where to get your strength from
or else you would throw up your hands and succumb
But you're called to be victorious over evil and sin
in Jesus' power you can do God's will and win.
MY PRAYER
Oh Lord, be my Guide and my Light in this darkened age
Hold my hand in this land where diverse sins rage
May I only see Your face, smiling while I walk
in Your footprints, close to Thee, listening when You talk.
Only pleasing You, O Lord, is what I really desire
But I need Your Help, Your Strength and Your Holy Fire
to overcome the world, to crucify the old man
So I may reign with You in Victory, according to Your plan.
and all the Saints say: "AMEN, and AMEN"
On The Wings of a Prayer
Just close your eyes and open your heart,
And feel your worries and cares depart.
Just yield yourself to the Father above,
And let him hold you secure in his love.
For life on earth grows more involved,
With endless problems that can't be solved,
But God only ask us to do our best,
Then he will take over and finish the rest...
So when you are tired, discouraged and blue,
There is always one door that is open to you,
And that is the door to The House of Prayer,
And you'll find God waiting to meet you there.
And The House of Prayer is no further away,
than the quiet spot where you kneel and pray.
For the heart is a temple when God is there
As we place ourselves in his loving care.
And he hears every prayer and answers each one
When we Pray in His name - Thy will be done.
The burdens that seemed too heavy to bear
Are lifted away on the wings of a prayer.
