William M. "Billy" THOMPSON, second child and son of Benjamin and Permelia Jane Wiseman THOMPSON, was born 17 MAR 1847 in Benton County, Tennessee and died 8 NOV 1926 in Ripley County, Missouri. He married Lettie MCDOWELL 23 FEB 1868. Lettie, fourth child and daughter of Ganium M. and Amy Jane LASSEN MCDOWELL, was born 18 DEC 1848 in Marshall County, Alabama and died 19 DEC 1925 in Ripley County, Missouri.
Billy and Lettie are both buried in Macedonia Cemetery, Ripley County, Missouri.
Billy and Lettie had the following children:
