A call to the wind,
In devastating destruction.
Cyclones and storms arise,
Varying violence and size.
Many paths now a pile of dust,
For today we all must,
Acknowledge wind and air.
It is this that has given,
Our ability to breathe.
Hail to all that is fire,
With the burning of life.
Whether it be passion or strife,
The flame sets deep inside.
This damage is human made,
Arson, explosion, and weapon grade.
It is fire that gave life,
And not take it.
Water the essence of all,
Rivers, streams, and waterfalls.
As an unborn child we live in it,
And when born we are afraid.
This makes no sense to me,
It is the greatest reason,
For the growth we see.
These all are values of life,
And they demand our respect.
They are the dwelling seeds,
Ones we ultimately need.
They are sustaining our life.
They are shaping forces.
