Site Bibliography
For your convenience in studying certain Wiccan ideas further, and for giving authors proper recognition, I have created this bibliography page for you. None of the information in this site was copied directly from any book. It just supplied the information that helped me learn Wicca, now I'm giving it to you. The books are listed by the order they appeared. If you wish to study further, I have left comments after every book title to help you know which is for you. Good luck in your pursuit and blessed be.
The Religion
- Cunningham, Scott... "Wicca: A Guide to the Solitary Practioner" published in 1988 by Llewellyn------ Scott Cunningham is thought of by many as the best author for beginers to study. He is my personal favorite author also. Whether you're new to the Craft or just beginning, if by some miracle, you don't own one of his books, you have to get one! The book listed here is the best for beginners to start with.
- "Llewellyn's Witches Datebook" (various authors) published in 1999 by Llewellyn--------- This calendar (published annually) has moon phases, birthdays of authors and other people and events important to our witchy heritage.
Candle Correspondece
- Ravenwolf, Silver... "Teen Witch" published in 1998 by Llewellyn------- If you've ever heard anyone mention Mamma Silver, this is who they're referring to. Silver writes mainly for teenagers, and gearing towards that audience, she is very good. She has spells for your teachers, crushes, lockers,..everything a teenager could want. Adults, however should seek more adult-theamed writers.
- Riva, Anna... "Spellcraft, Hexcraft, and Witchcraft" published in 1977 by International Imports--------Anna Riva's books aren't very good for learning about Wicca, they're mainly for spells. Her spells include everything from Christian-theamed, Wiccan, and Satanic spells, so be careful if using them. Use your better judgement and don't get yourself in trouble by using a spell just because 'she says it's okay'.
