Saiyan Saga
This was the beginning of DragonBall Z. We first saw someone leaping from tree to tree in the forest. It was Goku, getting wood (actually a whole tree) for his wife, Chi-Chi, to cook. Chi-Chi asked Goku where was Gohan. Goku didn't know where Gohan was so he went searching for him. Gohan actually was in the forest playing with a puma. He then falls down a river onto a log and yelling,"DAD!!!." Goku obviously with his Sayai-Jin ears hears him and comes to the rescue.
Meanwhile, a round space pod lands on the earth in some farmers pasture, creating a huge crater where the pod had landed. A very weak and afraid farmer comes to see the ship, when a strong looking Saiya-jin comes out of the ship. The curious and scared farmer feels threatened and shoots the man with his shot gun and the Saiya-jin actually catches the bullet and flings it back at the farmer, killing him (on the censored version the farmer just ran away very fast). He flys off yelling out,"KAKOROTT!!".
As he is flying his scouter pics up a very High Power Level. Thinking it was Kakorott the alien flys down to investigate. Realizing that it's Piccolo, Radditz is very annoyed. The meditating Piccolo is disturbed and very angry. Piccolo and Radditz have a un-welcoming mini battle. With one of Piccolo's strongest attacks, Piccolo fires it at Radditz. After the smoke clears, not even a scrath left. Piccolo was in much trouble. But Radditz was not here for fun and games with green men.
Goku and Gohan fly to the Kame-house where they come to a group gathering. When suddenly, the alien arrives. He claims he is Goku's brother. He then explains Goku's past. Firstly his true Saiya-jin name; Kakorott and his mission. That he was sent to earth to grow, and soon as he was strong enough kill all life forms on that planet. But, since Goku's minor case of memory lose. Goku is no way close to the destructive, rude child he used to be. Knowing this Radditz orders him to kill 100 of the species or he will kill his son, Gohan. He grabs the crying child Gohan and flys off. Out of nowhere, Piccolo arrives and states he has encountered the power of Radditz and comments "I think it's best if we team up." And agreement was settled to kill Radditz. They both then fly off.
They finally find him using Bulma's Dragon radar because of the dragonball on Gohan's hat and fight Radditz. During the battle, Piccolo loses a limb and Goku is badly injured, leaving 4 broken ribs. Gohan then gets very mad and strikes a blow to Radditz's stomach. The now weaker Radditz was able to be held by Goku while Piccolo fired his special beam attack at them. It killed them both and Piccolo see's the power within Gohan. And believed that with his training, he can teach Gohan how to use that power. So Piccolo flys off taking Gohan to train him.
Goku then goes to the Next Dimension and is told to cross snake way to get trained under the arts of King Kai. After 8 months of running he gets very tired and is offered a ride from the road cleaner. While he is sleeping, he falls off and ends up in The Land of Infinite Losers. He races an ogre in HFIL and wins, granting him permission to the secret passage. But little did they know, on his way out. Goku secretly took one of King Yemma's special fruit keeping a man full for months. He has to restart his journy from the beggining but is powered up from the fruit. He defeats princess snake and finally gets to the small planet of King Kai's.
On the planet, since it's so small the gravity is much stronger. He trains under 10 times normal gravity and thanx to the teaching of King Kai, Gregory and Bubbles he learns the Kao ken and Genki-Dama. Those of which attacks not even King Kai could master. Genki-dama allows Goku to summon energy up from the universe and then fire it. Only a pure heart may use the attack or when needed "bounce it."
The day the 2 other Saiya-jins; Nappa and Vegeta arrive, the land to find a waiting Piccolo and Gohan. To start things off, Nappa plants six Sabaimen. They develope and Krillin joins the fight. Later Tien and Chiautzu come and also join in the fight. Yamcha is the last of the Z warriors to come. Yamcha is killed when one of Nappa's Sabaimen self-destruct. Chiaotzu and Tien sacraficed themselves to kill Nappa but failed. Piccolo jumps in front of a fireball killing him, but saving Gohan. At this time, Goku is wished back to life and races through snake way to get to earth.
Goku arrives just in time to save Gohan and Krillin by using his Kaio-ken. Vegeta gets mad at Nappa for trying to but not killing Goku and Vegeta kills Nappa. The battle is then "Vegeta vs. Goku". Vegeta turns into the Oozaru from the artificial moon light he made, but Yajirobe cowardly cuts off Vegeta's tail transforming him back into a Saiyan. Gohan then turns into Oozaru and hurts Vegeta BAD. Vegeta is very mad and decides to Blow up the planet rather than Spare it. With his special attack, Galic Gun, he fires it at The earth. Goku turning Kao Ken, shoots out a Kamehameha x3, stopping the beam then Kamehameha x4 blasting Vegeta out of the sky. Goku with his last bit of energy gives it all to Krillin to form the spirit bomb. Krillin finds the right time and hurls it at Vegeta, dodging it. The bomb is now about to hit Gohan, but with his pure heart bounces it back toward Vegeta. Krillin spares Vegeta's life thanks to Gokus genorosity and Vegeta gets away.
Bulma and others come to save everyone. Unfortunately, when Piccolo died, so did Kami. And without Kami, there can't be dragonballs. They realize that Piccolo came from the planet Namek and Bulma, Krillin, and Gohan travel there in a space capsule hoping to fine more powerful dragonballs to wish their friends back.....
