TaKinitin

Not much is known about this young Rarius. He suddenly appeared in Port Kar shortly after se’kara and was soon much feared by men with his great skill, strength and mastery with the sword as well as desired by many Free Women and kajira for his ko-lar with his strong good looks, charm and sometimes unusual kindness.

With his legendary Gorean short sword rumoured to have been built by the Priest Kings themselves, he carries a fantastic set of 7 jewel encrusted Quiva, bearing the mark of a Tuchuk Commander of a Thousand, though how he managed to obtain such a priceless and beautiful item from the Southern Plains still remains a mystery for he is rumoured also to be well skilled in the weaponry of the Wagon People and kailla.

He lived in Port Kar as a sword for hire and is most happiest when he hears the sound of steel clashing against steel. Once it was said that he protected a kajira who had escaped the hands of one of the great slave houses in Ar for a mere copper tarn disk which he gave to her himself just to find his sword unsheathed once more. The 15 Mercenaries were soon reduced to 3 with the swiftness and agility of a larl and he allowed the survivors to return to Ar to tell their Master that the girl who bore the marks of a liar, thief and traitress was now a Free Woman though he never asked her what she had done to warrant such a search.

His skill is legendary and he refused to pledge his much sought after hand with the blade for he thought none worthy until he heard of the Great Tournament of Ar. A dream of conquering all in the Stadium of Blades and humiliating the Ubar by refusing to pledge and returning to Port Kar a rich man soon sent him on the journey to Ar after much training. During the trip, he and his fierce War Tarn Kimaco were under attack from mercenary tarnsmen from Treve who feared he would pledge to the great city of Ar for it was rumoured that the Wolf Brothers now controlled the throne. The long battle made him late and he missed the chance to fight for the gold. Not wanting to dishonour himself and his caste by failing to enter, he fought the First Sword of Fur Silk and Steel - the legendary NyghtHawke.

After a gruelling duel, steel meeting steel, blood upon blood, he gained respect for the Warrior and the Wolf Brothers and when it was decided no man would eventually win, the Ubar of Ar himself claimed the match a draw and offered TaKinitin the position of the Captain of the Guards and after much discussion and feasting, he learned that the Wolf Brothers were most worthy indeed for his sword.

Never afraid to speak his mind even if to argue a point or decision made by an Ubar, his cheeky sense of humour and great intelligence, said to be greater than some of those of the Caste of Scribes are most unbecoming to the otherside of this fast becoming legendary master of the sword and of those who have dared to cross swords, not many have lived to tell the tale, and this is only because he allows them to tell the tale for he likes to hear people talking about his great conquests.

After a troublsome time in Ar, however, after much deceit and lies, TaKinitin overthrew Zadedar as Ubar to try and make Ar breathe again, forming the High Council, but not wanting to have to keep His sword in sheath he joined a New Ar, with its Great Ubar and Ubara and offered his services to them, pledging once again to Ar.

Unfortunately, another problem arose - TaKinitin's confusion led Him to despair, commiting one of the foulest acts known upon Gor - the stealing of another Man's girl and to his day, TaKinitin has carried the burdon of guilt and has covered the scarlet until the day He sees Himself as a Warrior of Honour.

After yet more betrayal and the beheading of His kajira teal, He left Ar, sick to the stomach of Gor, wandering, sword out in anger all the time. Mood swings made this Gorean very unhappy and His drinking became excessive, Free Woman and kajirae now fearing this Monster.

The question is, how much more can this Warrior take. It will take a true show of character to endure all this pain, the opening of His Tavern at SOI is one venture He is undertaking to try and avert His weakening mind.

Someday, soon, TaKinitin will rise again...

VIKTEL ARIA !!
