This was a quick tutorial and I wanted to do an animation with a bunny for Easter. If you will notice I am trying something new. There is a zip file named ExamplesPaintBunny. These are examples of where and what you should have at that point. If you will unzip them and open in PSP you will have them right there so you don't go back and forth from tutorial to PSP. I hope you like this idea and it works out well for you. It saves a lot of space in html so I will have more room for tutorials. Let me know what you think by clicking on the link at the bottom. 2. Examples needed for Tutoial. Download and open in PSP.
3. Tubes. Download and open in PSP.
2. Open all the tubes from the zip above in PSP.
3. Click on the Egg Tube go to Edit>Copy.
4. Click on working image go to Edit>Paste As A New Layer.
5. With Magic Wand click on the outside of the egg tube.
6. Go to Selections>Invert.
7. In the top Color Palette select Gradient and choose a gradient that you think would look good as an Easter Egg. I used ddenBgradient.
8. Go to Selections>Float.
9. Go to Effects>3D Effects>Cut Out. Settings: V & H 0 Opacity 75 Blur 75 Color Black. Click ok. Deselect the marching ants.
10. Click on BunnyArtistKK.psp. Go to Edit>Copy.
11. Click on working image go to Edit>Paste As A New Layer. Move Bunny to left side of the egg.
12. Change the color on the tip of the painting brush. Select a color that you want to make your design with. Click on Selection Tool draw a rectangle around the tip of the brush then click on the inside of the brush and it will be encircled with marching ants.
13. Select color in top Color Palette I used the gold foil in the zipped file. Open the gold foil in PSP.
14. In top Color Palette select Pattern then select the Gold Foil.
15. With the Air Brush tool size 2 spray inside the marching ants. Now the paint brush should have the gold foil on the tip.
16. Go to the Layer Palette and click on Layer 2.
17. Go to Layers>New Rastar click ok.
18. Click on Layer 2 go to Image>Mirror. Now your bunny should be facing to the left and the brush should be at the end of the egg. We are doing this because we are going to work backwards so it will be easier to animate later on.
19. Go to Layer Palette and Click layer of the bunny. Go to Layers>New Rastar click ok.
20. Select the Text Tool. When the pop up window appears select a font, size and color you want on the egg. Type in Happy Easter. Click ok.
21. Go to Image>Rotate. Settings: Click on left type in 15 click ok. Move text where you want it on the egg. Deselect the marching ants.
22. Go to Layer Palette and select the layer that is blank right under the bunny layer.
23. Open the Egg Curly C_C.psp go to Edit>Copy.
24. Click on working image go to Edit>Paste As A New Selection. Move the curly to the appropriate spot on the egg.
25. Flood fill the Egg Curly with the gold foil. Deselect the marching ants.
27. Move the bunny to the end of the curly. So it looks like you just finished it.
28. Hold down the shift key on keyboard and click on "D".
29. With this duplicate go to Layers>Merge Visible. Move this to the side of PSP.
30. Go back to working image move the bunny back a little. I moved about the curly before the end one. Example 1 in the zip file above.
31. Go to Layer>Palette and select the layer with gold curly on it and erase to the tip of the paint brush.
32. You will repeat these steps till you are at the beginning. So open all your examples please look at Example 2 move bunny back to that point and erase to the tip of the paint brush.
33. Hold down shift key on keyboard select "D".
34. Go to Layers>Merge>Visible. Move this one on top of the last one you finished.
35. Click on working image go to Image>Mirror. Go to Example 3 and repeat step 32 through 34.
36. Open Example 4 repeat the steps. When you merge visible your duplicate remember to place them on top of each other. Keep in order.
37. Open Example 5 repeat steps.
38. Open Example 6 repeat steps.
39. You should now have 5 total merged visible bunny painting.
40. Click on the top one to make it active go to File>Save As>B1.psp and go through each one till you have all 5 saved as a tube.
41. Go to Files>Jasc Products>Launch Animation.
Animation Screen
1. Go to File>Animation Wizard.
2. First Pop Up Same Size As First Image Checked click next.
3. Second Pop Up Transparent checked click next.
4. Third Pop Up Upper Left Hand Corner of Frame and With The Canvas color checked click next.
5. Fourth Pop Up Yes repeat animation indefinitely type in 50 in the little box and click next.
6. Fifth Pop Up Add Image click here add your images so they are starting with B1 and ending with B5 in the box. Click next.
7. 6th Pop Up Click Finish.
8. Before you check the animation go to Animation>Resize. Make sure Pixel size is checked type in 300 it will be in both boxes click ok.
9. Go to View>Animation. Your bunny should be painting away.
