Being that it is so cold this evening, I went to our public library and took out a couple of movies to watch on my TV. I took out the movie called Willow, a fantasy-adventure, and the other movie is, You've got Mail with Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan. I saw Catherine and Matika and spoke to them for a little while. Its good to see them, they are very nice people. I do not plan to go out this evening, not even for a walk with Buddy. He can roam around that big flat roof and do his dog thing. I will clean it up tomorrow. Hopefully, it will be a little warmer tomorrow. March 1st, 2008; I am writing this late in the evening to get a few things off my chest. Today, it was just as cold as the previous day with temperatures around the -22°C / -7°F with some snow flurries. Tomorrow it is going to be much warmer, with temperatures around -10°C / 14°F mark. Boy, how time seem to just fly by. The month of February has already gone by so fast. Ever notice that as a person gets older, time seem to go by ever so fast. Even a whole year appears to go by fairly quickly, compare to when a person was much younger. I happen to be watching the program; Researching Climate Change in the Far North, today on CTV's Good Morning Canada. The program was about gathering evidence to support the UN claim on global warming, which they now refer to as "climate change", which they claim continues to grow at an alarming rate which is causing the meltdown of the arctic polar ice cap. Weather scientists and researcher from the University of Manitoba is leading a research project bringing together more than 200 of these scientists from 15 countries around the world for a multi-year climate change study aboard a ship in the Arctic. These are the same weather scientists who have been putting forth Al Gore and the UN, IPCC (Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change) claims about global warming. This is another attempt of globalists who are joining forces to better convince the general public on their theory about global warming. CTV's Maralee Caruso had interviewed Dr. David Barber to learn about his research and how educators are getting students involved so the next generation understands the issue. This global warming issue reminds me about another issue which had involved so-called "Scientists". I Canada, we had fishery Scientists who had insisted for a long time that the northern cod stocks, especially those on the northeastern portion of the Grand Bank (NAFO division 3L or the "Nose of the Bank"), the southeastern portion (division 3NO or the "Tail of the Bank"), and the outcropping of the shelf east of the Bank (division 3M or the "Flemish Cap") were in fine shape, while inshore fishermen along the coast of Nfld., saw a steady decrease in the size of cod they were catching. The inshore fishermen were concerned that the cod stocks were dwindling. These fishery "Scientists" insisted that the cod stocks were in fine shape, and continued to allocate huge quotas to the off-shore draggers, while at the time, it was widely believed by inshore fishermen that there was excessive fishing being done by our own, and foreign off-shore dragging fleets, inside and outside of Canada's 200-mile fishing zone that was undermining the Canadian fish stock conservation program. The inshore fisherman had fought for years with the Provincial and Federal Government fisheries "Scientists" to scale down the heavy over fishing that was being done by the off-shore draggers. After years of contention with the Liberal Government, the inshore fishermen were proven to be correct that the cod stocks were indeed dwindling substantially. So what did the Canadian government do? They enacted a moratorium on the inshore fishing in 1992. They closed down the entire inshore fisheries. These were fishermen who fished from 5 AM to 8 PM, six days a week, excluding Sundays as a day off, from late May to September, while they let the off-shore draggers continue to fish their 24 hours a day routine for 12 months of the year without letup. In fact these off-shore draggers were dragging their huge nets on the cod spawning grounds to meet some of their quotas. These so-called fishery "scientists" were blaming the inshore fishermen for the demise of the cod stocks, when it was the off-shore draggers all along, who were the real culprits! Isn't it interesting that after all the years that the inshore fisheries had been closed down, and the off-shore draggers were allowed to continue their 24 hours per day / 12 months fishing per year, the Fisheries Resource Conservation Council (FRCC) released their latest report to the Minister of Fisheries and Oceans which stated that the Northern cod stock has shown no significant signs of recovery since the moratorium on the inshore fishing was declared in 1992. The Chairman of the FRCC stated that it was time for them to take a different approach. Will these idiots finally take the hint what the inshore fishermen had been saying to the government fishery "Scientists" all along? Stopping the inshore commercial cod fishery was not what caused the great demise of the cod stocks, they have to go after the main culprits, the off-shore draggers, stupid! This is the reason why I have such a low esteem and give little credence to those so-called "scientists", who can't agree among themselves, especially those who are involved with the UN, IPCC (Intergovernmental Panel on global warming, (Climate Change) who are trying to convince the public that we are heading for a global melt down.

B.C. Police had discovered and made a raid on what is suspected a cockfighting ring, according to CBC News. As part of their investigation, the RCMP are looking into whether the cockfighting may be linked to organized crime. Some of the 1,270 fighting birds found on three properties were fed steroids and kept in a perpetual state of excitement. The birds were kept tethered to barrels and several were suffering from injuries such as infected cuts, missing eyes and head wounds. Officials said they found two fighting pits on two properties, as well as a wide variety of cockfighting paraphernalia, including curved metal spurs used to slash opponents, score cards, syringes and a feathered mock-up bird on the end of a stick. SPCA officers were aided by the RCMP and Surrey bylaw officers when they executed search warrants and raided three properties in the rural area of Cloverdale earlier this week. The searches were carried out over two days, starting Wednesday evening. While the SPCA has recommended that charges be laid against 27 people involved in the ring, police said on Friday that charges are pending against only one man while their investigation continues. "The most horrific part of the warrant was having to euthanise every single one of the 1,270 roosters on the property,'' said Shawn Eccles, BC SPCA chief animal prevention officer. An official from the B.C. Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals said that the 1,270 birds that were seized in the Surrey, B.C., cockfighting investigation took more than a dozen SPCA officers and about 13 hours to destroy the birds. "Each and every one of us had to justify what we were doing and why we were doing it and that was because if we didn't destroy these birds they would have died a horrible death," said Eileen Dreever, a senior animal protection officer with the BC SPCA. To think that we have Canadians who get their kicks on watching birds or dogs fighting each other is repugnant to say the least. I hope these people who set up these fights, get the full brunt of the law it can impose upon these people who display such barbaric behaviour. It speaks volumes about those people twisted sense of morality, who participate in these barbaric endeavours.

According to the latest CBC News, 84 Palestinians were killed in Gaza since renewed fighting flared up on Wednesday. Those four days have seen some of the bloodiest violence since Israeli forces withdrew from the coastal territory of Gaza in 2005 CE. Two Israeli soldiers were also killed and seven wounded during the incursion, the army said, its first deaths in Gaza since October. The latest round of violence was committed by the Palestinians when they fired their Iranian-made rockets into the northern town of Beit Hanoun. Palestinian militants had continued to fire rockets into neighbouring Israeli communities from Gaza while those so-called "peace talks" were underway. Palestinian rockets caused the death of a 13-month-old girl, Malak Karfaneh, who was killed by rocket shrapnel, and an Israeli university student was killed during the constant Palestinian rocket barrage on the Israeli town of Sderot, located in southern Israel. Two children and one woman were also wounded in Ashkelon, during the latest barrage of Palestinian rocket strikes. Ashkelon is where the Palestinians are getting some of their electricity from. Ashkelon is located about 17 kilometres north of Gaza. During George w. Bush "Peace Talks", Palestinians had launched more than 40 rockets and mortars on a daily basis on Israeli towns. On Friday, Israeli deputy defence minister Matan Vilnai renewed a threat to invade Gaza to crush militant rocket squads which attacked southern Israel on a daily basis. When the Palestinian rocket strikes continued by Saturday afternoon, it prompted the Israeli military to send its troops, tanks and aircraft into Gaza on Saturday, Mar. 1, 2008 CE. They were to target the constant rocket-launching attacks by Palestinians on Ashkelon, an Israeli coastal city of 120,000 people. These rocket-launching attacks on Israeli civilians were launched within Palestinian civilian areas. An intense battle was fought near the northern Gaza town of Jebaliya, a well known Palestinian terrorist enclave which had responded with their mortars and rockets. Israeli government spokesman David Baker said Israel was "compelled to continue to take these defensive measures" to protect more than 200,000 Israelis living under the threat of Palestinian rocket barrages. Defence Minister Ehud Barak said on Saturday that Israel held Hamas responsible for the civilian casualties and would continue its operations to end the terror attacks on Israeli citizens. Now Hamas is blaming Israel for launching its attacks upon Gaza even though it was his Fatah and Hamas Palestinians who had repeatedly bombarded Israel with mortar and rockets upon Israeli civilians on a daily basis. Israel's fragile governing coalition would be hard pressed to just sit by and do nothing about this terrible situation. It is no great wonder why Abbas's efforts are being compromised by the fact that his Fatah and Hamas people are attacking Israeli civilians and their towns with their Palestinian rockets and random drive-by shootings. To think that any kind of concessions can be made with these Palestinian terrorists while they are attacking Israeli civilians with their rockets and mortars is totally ludicrous. When Israel had moved out of Gaza, the Palestinian could have chosen to live in peaceful co-existence with Israel, but they choose instead to keep up their terrorist attacks upon Israel and kill Israeli civilians with their rockets and random drive-by shootings. The Palestinian aggressors are now blaming Israel for the dilemma they find themselves in. In response to the fighting, Abbas has condemned Israel's move to strike back and said that; "We will tell the world what's happening, and judge who is committing international terrorism". Yes, Abbas, people around the world are beginning to realize just who is committing international terrorism, and it is not Israel. Palestinians claim that they condemn the rocket attacks, but that is a boldface lie. You never hear a peep out of them about condemning the rocket attacks, in fact, they tend to cheer every time a rocket hits something or kills an Israeli person. People around the world are beginning to realize just who is being the aggressors. They will find out that it is the Muslims in Gaza and elsewhere around the world who are perpetuating most of the crimes against humanity. In the meantime, the United Nations who are backing the Palestinian terrorists people, have closed down 37 schools it runs in the northern Gaza Strip, affecting some 40,000 students, said Christopher Gunness, a UN official. Chief Palestinian negotiator Ahmed Qureia said Palestinian leaders, including President Mahmoud Abbas, recommended suspending the peace talks at a meeting in the West Bank town of Ramallah, which is a well known Palestinian terrorist enclave. I was wondering when the Israeli government were ever going to defend the people of Israel from the constant, ongoing rocket attacks from those Palestinian terrorist people. No country in their right mind, in the entire world, would have tolerated being shot at with mortar and rockets by anyone, especially from Muslim terrorist who have proven, time and again, to be a cancer, a blight upon humanity. Frankly, if the Jewish people are that stupid to put up with a government who do not want to do what must be done. That is to get rid of these Palestinian people from Gaza and from all of Israel. Then the Israeli people can only blame themselves for their misfortune. Now that I got the topic of global warming, Muslims, Palestinians and Israel off my chest, I can concentrate on more pleasant things. I got a notice from the Temiskaming Hospital that I have an appointment near the end of March. I thank Dr. Sales, my eye surgeon, who had set up that appointment for me. Hopefully, I will get my right eye fixed. Then I will have perfect vision in both eyes once again. How great that will be! Tomorrow, I plan to hook up Buddy to his dog sled and take a run to Temiskaming Lodge, which is one of the well run Health Care nursing homes here in Haileybury. I want to visit some friends there. I am thinking of going back there as a volunteer when the basic computer program which I am presently teaching at the public library has run its course, and the program is terminated. From now on, I plan to focus on things which only directly affect me, or the People of the Holy Testament congregation. Right now, I am going to spend some time focusing on my plans to obtain some wilderness land so I can build my log cabin. It won't be long now, because next year, I will start to receive my old age pension. I will then be able to implement those plans at last, without being a burden to anyone, and leave the problems of the world to politicians to worry about. After all, they are getting a good pay cheque to do that sort of thing.

March 3rd, 2008; What mild weather we are having today, it is a balmy 3°C, with a light drizzle, that I do not even need to wear gloves. We expect to get some snow later on during the day. Yesterday I went to Temiskaming Lodge and saw John and other friends there. John is deformed from the waist down. He was born that way because his mother had taken some pills while she was pregnant, some thirty odd years ago. I recall that at that time, there were many babies who were affected that way for the same reason. Most of these babies had very stunted arms or legs of various degree. In John's case, it was his legs which are just dead stumps. He has to get around in a motorized wheelchair. Despite his condition, he is taking it pretty well. I recall last summer when he came to my place and asked if I would go fishing with him, we went down to the Haileybury waterfront. As we were passing the beach area on the boardwalk, John noticed a couple of nice looking girls in scant bathing suites and forgot what he was doing. He wanted to get a closer look at the girls and ran off the boardwalk and nearly flipped head over heals. We were fortunate that I got someone to help me get John and his HEAVY motorized wheelchair back up on the boardwalk. After a while, we burst out laughing at what had happened. John loosing his head over the skimpy clad girls on the beach. There was another incident when John had visited me on another occasion. I had been living at another apartment then, at Mc Cool, where the ground slopes down to the main road which is quite busy with traffic. In order to help John get out through the tight, narrow doorway of my ground floor apartment, I had to disengage his wheelchair so I could manoeuvre it by hand to get John out through the doorway. Forgetting to re-engage his wheelchair when we had made our way outside, I had let him go on his own down the slope as I locked the door. As John was heading for the roadway, I had thought that John had total control and was running his wheelchair. Only when John let out a big yelp, had I realized that I had forgotten to engage his wheelchair as he was racing towards the busy street. I bolted for that runaway wheelchair and caught it as it was just getting on the roadway. Boy, that was a close call! John's face looked kinda pale when I saw him in his wheelchair. Some hours later, we both burst out laughing at what had transpired, even though it could have turned out to be very bad, a very tragic situation. After that incident, I always made sure his wheelchair was engage before I let it go.

Feb.4th,2008; This morning it is a sunny but a cold day with temperatures around the -24°C mark with the wind coming from the north. Which always brings a cold blast from the arctic. Late yesterday evening the weather forecast was calling for a drop in temperatures. It was warning that it might drop to -24°C with some snow flurries. Well, they called that one right. All that water from the light rain we had yesterday had quickly frozen and made the roads and walkways very slippery. I had to spread some salt on the sheet of ice along my walkway to prevent anyone from slipping. There is a severe weather storm watch for some heavy snowfall, mixed with ice pellets, freezing rain and rain for people east and south of us. They expect this severe storm system will have strong winds which may break tree limbs and down power lines. The Temiskaming Shores area should escape this severe storm system altogether.

I see that Premier McGuinty, our Liberal Provincial Government of Ontario wants to place legislation to ban smoking in privet vehicles with children on board. I do not have any children, nor do I have a car or truck for this legislation to directly effect me personally, but people should be concerned that the infringement and steady decline of our civil liberties and rights in Canada is threaten all the more every time a new legislation is enacted. They are banning smoking in a person’s privet space, such as a person's own privet vehicle. What is next? Will they be banning smoking in a person's privet space where they live, in their home? Think that is far fetch? Think again! These Anti-smoking morons are claiming that a privet vehicle already has legislation imposed upon it, such as the mandatory use of seat belts, of having children car seats, speaking on cell phones while driving, so what is one more legislation to add to the list, like to ban smoking in a privet vehicle. Given that excuse, the privet home and its property which already has much legislation imposed upon it by federal, provincial, and municipal Governments on what a person can or cannot do to their home or privet property. So what is one more legislation to ban smoking in the privacy in one's own home when children are involved? What difference if another legislation that is imposed upon a person’s privet space, such as a person's own privet home will be their argument. That is one of the excuse they used about banning smoking in a personal, privet vehicle. These Anti-smoking morons will use anything, even children, in their campaigns to ban smoking altogether and infringe upon people's rights! I have heard that doctors will refuse to give medical treatment to a person who smoke. There are people who complain about people who are using wood stoves. One of these days, they will want to ban the use of wood stoves through legislation. This is all part of the anti-smoking and global warming (climate change) fight that is going on globally, which is headed by the UN, (New World Order). These Anti-smoking advocates, which are within the UN, Framework Convention on Tobacco Control (FCTC) are pooling their efforts into an ambitious long-term push to stop smoking altogether. They start their push against smoking in wealthy nations where the use of tobacco products has flourished and to keep it from catching on in developing nations where it hasn't. All this will seem like it is the right thing to do, but there's more to this than meets the eye. It is about having total control over people. Unfortunately, most of these Anti-smoking morons are too stupid to realize that! These people who are pushing for such legislation are mostly globalist and Christians, headed secretly by the Vatican, and aided by their Protestant harlot gophers, their Protestant pastors, which are helping to bring about this total control over people lives through their "preaching", through so-called public "propaganda", and through "legislation" in countries throughout the world. The UN, (New World Order) along with Christians, are working with governments at all levels of society to implement such controls. It will also put in place a system to monitor full compliance. Such steps are already being put in place to control the millions of people globally. Take great heed! "BIG BROTHER" is already watching you! WATCH OUT! Think that I am exaggerating? March 7th, 2008; It appears that another winter storm is going to hit Ontario in 2 stages according to the latest weather forecast. This storm system will most likely not effect our region. This weather storm warning is mostly for regions south and east of us. Heavy snow forecast is expected for southern, eastern Ontario on Friday and Saturday. This winter storm is brewing over Alabama and could bring heavy snow to parts of southern and eastern Ontario in two stages, according to Environment Canada. The service issued a winter storm watch for Toronto early Friday, saying the city could receive more than 20 centimetres of snow on the weekend. The forecast called for two to four centimetres in Toronto on Friday afternoon, five centimetres on Friday night and 15 centimetres on Saturday. The first stage of this snow storm will begin Friday afternoon in southwestern Ontario and move into eastern regions by evening. After a short break overnight, the second snowfall is expected to begin Saturday afternoon in southwestern Ontario and later over eastern Ontario. It isn't expected to ease for several hours. The snowfall duration will be about 36 hours, but the heaviest snow will be on Saturday afternoon and into the evening, The Niagara, Kingston, and Cornwall region could be the hardest hit, receiving up to 50 centimetres of snow overall.

Eight Jewish students were killed and 10 others were wounded, when a lone Palestinian gunman had infiltrated a Yeshiva, in Jerusalem on Thursday night. Five students are in serious to critical condition. The lone Palestinian gunman was shot dead by security officials. The gunman had lived in Jabel Mukabar, which is a neighbourhood just east of Jerusalem's East Talpiyot neighbourhood. I was not the least bit surprised to find out through the news media that a murderous Arab "Palestinian" had killed these Jewish students. It is just a continuation of the violence lead by a bunch of Palestinian murderous people. What can anyone expect when the Israeli people have a bunch of idiots running their government. Given the latest atrocity from these murderous Palestinian people, the Omar government plans to continue with Bush's phony "Peace Plan" which amounts to be nothing but a sham. How stupid is that Prime Minister Olmert to be talking about peace while Palestinians, were attacking the nation of Israel with volleys of Kassam rockets from Gaza! In the most recent rocket attacks, from the Hamas and Fatah terrorist organizations, four people were wounded in Sderot, at about the same time that lone Palestinian gunman had killed the eight Yeshiva students that evening. Other Jewish people had been killed by those Kassam rockets, that were fired by the Hamas and Fatah terrorist groups. I wonder how our Prime Minister Harper can sleep at nights, knowing he was so eager to send hundreds of thousands of Canadian taxpayers dollars to support a bunch of murderous Palestinian people who had jumped for joy when they heard the news that one of their own had murdered eight yeshiva students? If anybody asks me who's fault that those eight Merkaz HaRav yeshiva students are now dead, I would blame that directly on Prime Minister Olmert's government and his bunch of idiot clicks, for having allowed this Palestinian terrorist campaign to go on for so long while he is the Prime Minister of Israel. What a bunch of morons the Israeli people have for a government. I include those people who had not the courage to walk out of that coalition and let the Olmert government collapse. Instead, they have allowed this madness to continue. It is no great wonder why Israel has so little respect around the world, when its government consists of a bunch of spineless bureaucrats. I make no distinction between the Hamas and Fatah Palestinians because it has been proven, time and again, that both of these groups belong to the same Palestinian terrorist organization who are committed to getting rid of the Jewish people from the land of Israel.

March 11th, 2008; Mild weather has returned to our area. While the tempatures last night was around -16°C, we are expectingit to rise today to a balmy -2°C, with light snow. It had been fairly cold during the past weekend. We also expect to get some snow later on in the evening, but nothing like the winter storm which had dumped a huge amount of snow to the southern part of Ontario. Instead, it was bitterly cold with a light dusting of snow. I see in the news that there is much contraversy about the statement Barack Obama had made to people in Ohio about NAFTA. While the US election race is heating up between Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama, Obama’s smooth talk seems to have been working for his champaign. Unfortunately, he has also shown how sleazy he can be when talking to potential voters. He stated in Ohio, how he would get the NAFTA deal changed to the advantage of the USA or they would drop NAFTA altogether. Any alteration in the NAFTA deal will have a profound effect upon Canada and probably more so, for Mexico. Personally, I had always been against NAFTA. I was against NAFTA from the very beginning, when it was only talked about in the planing stages. I recall that it was the USA who had fostered the NAFTA plan upon Canada. Well, Obama’s little speech on NAFTA in Ohio last week, did not sit too well with many Canadians. When Canadian officials questioned Obama about the statements he had made on the NAFTA issue, he stated that what he had said to the voters in Ohio, was not to be taken seriously. So it seems that Obama does not seem to mind lying to people, especially to US voters. He seems to be talking from both sides of his mouth, just like a sleazy shyster. Then again, I should not be too surprised by that, being that Barack Obama claims to have been brought up as a Muslim and had converted to become a Christian. I have observed over the past many years, that Muslims and Christians tend to generally lie a lot. Lying and hyoocrisy comes natural to these people. I greatly suspect that they have also lost the capacity to distinguish the difference between what is the truth and what is fiction. That is plainly revealed through the theology of their particular religions. Then again, Barack Obama is in good company with the likes of Bill Clinton, George W. Bush, and ex-Prime Minister of Britain, Tony Blair. They are also Christians, and they all lie to people and seem to have a very hard time distinguishing between what is real from what is only fantasy. George W. Bush's war on Iraq, is a good example of that. That old saying sure seems to hold true, that birds of the same feather do seem to flock together, don’t they? People may dismiss the issue of lying to people as not being very important, but it really reveals the true character of a person. This is really all about trust. About who can be trusted and who can not. As for Hillary Clinton, there is something about her, I do not trust or relish. But that is neither here nor there, for I have no great faith or trust in American political policy makers. Neither do I have any faith or trust in the majority of Americans or their US Presidents, simply because those who are elected, are the harbingers to bring about the New World Order system within the North American continent. Frankly, we have the same situation here in Canada. I have noticed over the years that the majority of Canadians have systematically picked candidates who belong to the same New World Order (UN) crowd.

Tamar Yonah, a radio host and commentator speaks about the horrid characters which Arab children are indoctrinated on a Fatah Palestinian run television program which the United Nations and our own Canadian government has helped to fund. This is what the Fatha Palestinians which President Mahmoud Abbas in the West Bank is representing. This is no Romper Room! It is all about death, corpses, and martyrdom that is presented as topics on this children's show. Is it any real wonder why these children grow up wanting to kill Infidels? This is what their children are fed on a daily basis. Killer Bees and Killer Bunnies is what the Hamas and Fatah Arads, the so-called, innocent "Palestinian" people's children and adults are watching on their televisions. This is what Christopher Gunness, a UN official had really ment when he stated that the United Nations are backing and support 37 schools that it runs in the northern Gaza Strip. These are the so-called "innocent" Palestinian people (terrorists), whom the UN is always defending against Israel. If anyone wants to know what is really going on in Israel, I would strongly sugguest to log on to Israel National Radio, and get the real information, the truth, on what those "Palestinian" people really are like. Stephen Harper, our Prime Minister, and those in the House of Commons, need to take a look, it may well open their eyes as to the real situation that is going on in Israel and the Middle East.
