Tennis:
Matthew is into playing tennis and has received a "Head" Titanium Tennis racket for his tenth birthday. Matthew belongs to the Downton tennis club which he attends every Wednesday night 6pm-7.30pm, he also plays tennis in an after school club on Thursdays at school 4.15pm-5pm. He has now had to have both of his tennis racquets restrung due to continual use. He has now joined the local club in Alderholt. Unfortunatly due to other comitments Matthew has had to give up going to Downton, he still plays tennis as an when he can and is still a member of Alderholt Tennis club.
Table Tennis:
Matthew plays table tennis and has joined the Ringwood table tennis club that is held every Friday night 7.30pm-11pm, for Christmas Matthew received a table tennis table much to his delight. He plays in the local Bournemouth League for Ringwood. Matthew plays at Chapel Gate, Bournemouth Sports Centre, on Saturday morning from 9.00 - 12.30. He has more professional bats, that require new rubbers after a certain length of time, so Jeffrey as has to learn how to re-rubber his bats. Matthew and a few boys have now set up a youth team and represnt Ringwood,the youth team resently won a trophy against about 7 other teams from aroound Dorset. Ringwood Table Tennis club also travel to France every other year to play the french.
Badminton:
On Tuesday from 5pm-7pm Matthew plays badminton at the Ringwood recreation centre; as he plays in the advanced coaching session, also he trains on Sunday morning with the Doret under 13 squad. He has played county matches for Dorset and continures to improve. He has a new Yonex racquet which will soon need restringing.Since i last wrote this page Matthew now trains for the under 15's on a sunday and also goes to extra training on a Thursday for Dorset club members who are picked to attend only.

Music:
Matthew is very musical he has lessons at school for trumpet and piano. At the end of 2002 he passed his grade 2 trumpet with a distinction and his piano grade 1. He has taken part in an Orchestra day at Stanford Earls.Since i last wrote on this page Matthew has now passed his grade 3 trumpet and is awaiting to do his grade 4 in 2005,also passed his grade 3 piano and awaiting to do his grade 3 in 2005.
Football:
Matthew is playing football after school for his own enjoyment.
