Get good at ollies. Bend down for an ollie. You have to "wind up" for the 180 by reaching your front arm across your chest and twisting your upper body the same direction. Ollie and unwind by turning your arms followed by your body and legs, make sure you get up in th air an inch or two before you start spinning. When you get to the peak of your 180 you will have to finish it by turning your legs the rest of the way. Land like an ollie, absorb the shock with your knees. This method of the 180 will help you a lot with lipslides and tailslides because you have to turn the back part of your board. Don't do the gay kind of 180 that involves your starting the 180 before you pop. Those piss me off. Leave them 180s alone.
