Place your front foot in the middle of the board and your back foot on the end of the tail. Do not put too much pressure on the edges. Bend down to get ready to jump. Relax. Now, in one solid motion, pop the tail and jump up. It helps to think of jumping off your back foot. Do this a few times until you can get all of your wheels off the ground. When you start getting your wheels off the ground all you have to do now is level the board out. To do this simply slide your front foot up to the beginning of the nose and bring your back foot up to about the back hardware bolts. Absorb the shock with your knees, not your lower back.
