Healers
GENERAL
The healers are a lot lighter boned than the warriors. They are very dainty and delicate.
The body is typically white and very rarely black, gray, or palomino colored. They have
cleft hooves (two-toed) instead of all of the others which have solid hooves. They have a
long, smooth horn which is sharp only at the very point. The horn color can be white,
silver, or gold. This is the ranking system and also corresponds to the amount of healing
power that they have.
RANKING
The ranking system is based on the color of the horn. Silver is the highest, then gold, then
white.
POWERS
Healers can use their energy to heal flesh wounds, broken bones, etc. with only minor scarring. The energy that the Healers use is produced in their own bodies when they are resting. They store this energy in the base of their horns. In order to heal a wound they insert the tip of their horn into the wound and then the stored energy is released in the desired amount. The person will feel a very short moment of hot pain then the wound will begin to heal and it will be painless. The amount of healing depends on the amount of rest that the Healer has had between healing. One major downfall is that if a healer uses all of its stored energy, then they lose their power entirely. They can not regenerate their healing energy. However as long as a small amount of energy is left they can always regenerate more healing power just by resting for a specific amount of time. A rest period consists of eating, sleeping, and a small amount of walking. Anything else will drain the healing energy. However each Healer has a maximum amount of energy that they can store. Once this is reached they no longer need to rest. Their Healing energy level will remain at the max until it is used to heal. The max amount is based on horn color. Silver can store the most, then gold, then white.
PERSONALITY
Healers are gentle and caring. They are extremely friendly and dislike violence. Therefore
they generally do not get along well with their cousins the warriors. They are quiet, calm
and introspective. They are the philosophers of the equines. Some of them are extremely
vain and self-absorbed.
