Behold a light in the distant night, Who beckons me to your need.
A sign from heaven or a message from God, Onward I shall proceed.
Growing closer and brighter still, I travel without any fright.
Approaching it closer and feeling the warmth, I smile with simple delight.
I see a vision standing in the light, A face I cannot yet see.
I know its a good face someone who cares, For I see the light burns for me.
My travel has ended I reached the lights glow, I see you smiling so bright.
My eyes fill with tears and my heart beats with joy, I have finally emerged from the night.
I take your hand and I walk now with you, I found my meaning in life.
To cherish your love and to give you my all, Overcoming my peril and strife.
I now see the truth why God has put me here, I know now why I must go on.
To love and to cherish the life I now live, My heartache and misery are gone.
Together we stride down the path of the lord, Together we journey ahead.
Happiness leading the way we were meant to proceed, Nothing bad now will ever be said.
I ask now of you what your heart really feels, How do you look upon me.
You ask me in return why does it matter, As long as I know our two hearts beat as one and beat free.
I smile at you and reply this is true, I am sorry I questioned Gods word.
And I tell you I love you and mean it I do, I then shout it out loud to be heard.
Walking along the great path in the lords watching eyes, We journey to places anew.
No matter where our lives take us or how it will change, remember i'll always love you.
