If I had but arms I could hold you,
I would show you my love, yes it's true.
If I had but lips I could kiss you,
Lift your heart when you tell me you're blue.
If I had but some legs I could come to you,
Take you to places both afar and anew.
If I had voice I'd tell you I love you,
Now and forever, that I always would do.
But I'm bound to this life God had gave me,
Still my heart and my love wander free.
I am happiest when It's your face I see,
Your warm smile fills my soul up with glee.
If I lost you the pain would destroy me,
My happiness and joy both surely would flee.
But God tells me he cares, and he loves me,
And to feel love is my hearts only plea.
So I live knowing this is all I shall be,
A happy, loving dolphin in my heaven the deep blue sea..
