"The Mystic Miss with her Crystal Hair"

Over the falls and float away, over the falls and float away,
She combs her hair with fingers of spray
And her voice calls back from another day,
Her voice calls back from far away.
Cracked lightning sparks off vertical walls.
She calls
And calls
Anger thrashes water to the boil.
She hurls in trunks and branches
Rips limbs from unsuspecting suspects,
And calls
'We invite you"
She keeps the scraps
Far later,
In rock walled pools.
Dirty brown coffee coloured,
Silver in moonlight,
Raw red at noon,
And only really seen if you look sideways
From the corner of your eyes,
Quickly.
