She never give up. Never gives in.
Progress flies over the head.
She's heard it all before,
Maybe even seen it all before.
Past and present snapping at her feet
Foetus slapping at her heart.
Feet in salt water,
Head high with the plants,
Always to give birth
To our dreams
Of progress.
