Monica (played by Roma Downey) is the sweet soft-hearted angel with a wee Irish accent and gentle naivete. She has gone from the angel choir, to search-and-rescue, and finally to caseworking - which is just what Miss Wings is perfectly suited for. Monica's supervisor is Tess (played by Della Reese), who helps her in her assignments by giving caring advise. Tess is the tough, wise and loving angel who adores her 'angel girl'. The pair is joined by Andrew (played by John Dye), the Angel of Death who brings souls back home to the Father. He also performs some acts of a caseworker whenever he's with Monica and Tess, and the angelic trio never fails to bring hope into the lives of countless humans in search for the light at the end of a tunnel. They are sometimes joined by various other angels from heaven such as Raphael, Celeste, Phil and Sam who help them deliver God's message of love and inspiration. These angels sent by God may not provide the answers to every problem, but they always leave a sense of faith, hope, peace and love behind them. And they're here to tell the world that 'God loves you'. | |

Together, the trio has comforted and saved countless souls on the show, and I even know of a few souls in the real world who are eternally grateful to the TBAA cast, crew and producers.
