Cameron (on the left) and Ms. Kris and I carved three drums on this beach from a coconut log that we found.

This beach, near Kailua-Kona on the big island is called 69's because it used to be a near telephone pole numbered 69 (supposedly). There is great snorkeling, cool boarding waves and fabulous hammock trees.

These are some cowries I found on a coastal backpacking trip with Ms. Kris and Cameron.
