CICHLIDS

By: Gatekeeper

Sometimes, its easier to have an idea of what you can do to your aquarium if you see some setups. Here you can find some setups that works for us. Well, i'm not telling you that this are the best setups or the only setups that will work. You should still keep in mind that "originality is always the best".

My 15 Cyphotilapia Frontosa in a 50 gallons Setup. Although its obvious that 50 gallons are to small fro them, i'll probably move them to 100 gallons next month, 200 galllons after 6 months. As you can see, rocks and fake plants plays a vital role in this habitat. I perform 30-50% water change weekly and please add tropic marin salt to inmprove water quality.

Are'nt they happy with my setups?

Here you can find my 13 little tropheus dubois's. I put them in just a 20 gallon tanks for 1 - 2 mo's. Actually, this is my technique to improve more their feeding habit when they're still young. Soon i'll put them in a 75 gallon tank and wait for them to breed. I used only undergravel filter but  I recommend using this kind of filter  with overhead filter to enhance more water movement and quality. Tropic Marin salt should not be forgotten for this setups.
