Odluka je pala cvrsta, 
   jos me drze bube, 
   kada malo jos porastem 
   bicu Dr. za zube. 

   I kod mene nece biti 
   onih strasnih sprava, 
   plombi, burgija, igala - 
   niceg sto je strava. 

   Izmislicu nesto ekstra 
   sto ce bol da spreci - 
   specijalnu slatku zvaku 
   koja zube leci. 

   Prozvaces je dva tri puta 
   i pogledaj cuda, 
   odjednom ti osmeh krase 
   zdravi zubi svuda! 

   Odluka je pala, ipak, 
   ovo dete moli 
   da ga prvo gornja dvojka 
   prestane da boli.

   The decision has been made: 
   I'll be an apprentice 
   and then when I'm all grown up, 
   I'll become a dentist. 

   I will certainly not have 
   those drills and those pumps, 
   fillings or those scary needles 
   that can give goosebumps. 

   I'll discover something neat 
   for everyone's sake-- 
   a special kind of chewing gum 
   that cures the toothache. 

   You just chew it a few times 
   and here comes the treat: 
   Afterwards you grin and smile 
   with all healthy teeth! 

   In order to make this true 
   I first have to wake 
   and let someone do their best 
   to end this tooth's ache.
