Ja sam rodjena sam u Baru, u Crnoj Gori 1990. godine. Godine 1992. moji mama, tata, brat i ja smo se preselili u Australiju. Ja sam tuzna zato sto svi rodjaci sa mamine i tatine strane zive tamo. Ovde sam isla u mnogo razlicitih skola. Kad sam napunila pet godina posla sam u Vologong osnovnu skolu. Zatim smo se preselili u Figtri i tada je rodjena moja mladja sestra Tijana. Godine 1997. isla sam da posetim rodjake u Jugoslaviji i tamo sam provela cetiri pet meseci. 1999. godine preselila sam se u Barak Haits gde i sada zivim.

I was born in Bar, Montenegro in 1990. In 1992 my mum,dad, brother and I moved to Australia. I feel sad because all of my relatives from my mothers and fathers side live there. I went to many different schools. When I turned five I went to Wollongong West Public School. Then I moved and went to Figtree. During that time my younger sister Tijana was born. In 1997 I went to visit my relatives in Yugoslavia and stayed there four to five months. In 1999 I moved to Barrack Heights, which is where I live now.

BLUE

Blue is the coulour of the sky,
Blue is the tears that I may cry.
The colour blue is a stream,
Blue is a relaxing dream.
It pollutes the air with a blue sensation,
It covers all of our great nation.

Yellow is a shining light,
Yellow is a colour so bright.
Yellow is a shooting star,
Yellow is the sun so far.
Yellow is a sun beam,
It's the coulor of a beautiful dream.
Yellow is a scented potion,
That pours into the magical ocean.

POSEJDONOVA GREŠKA

   Bogovi su našli razlog,
   na Olimpu beše slavlje,
   ambrozijum i nektar su
   u Zevsovo pili zdravlje.

   Posejdon je mnogo pio,
   pet pehara iskapio,
   pa se onda sa konjicem
   morskim, grubo našalio.

   Pomislio od konjica
   sa stomakom, da je dama,
   pa ga greškom blagoslovi,
   reče: "Budi dobra mama!"

POSEIDON'S MISTAKE

   All the gods were joined together,
   Singing in the name of Zeus,
   Celebrating on Mt. Olympus,
   Drinking ambrosia and juice.

   Poseidon could not stop toasting,
   Five full goblets made his head spin.
   Then he saw the seahorse swim by,
   And played a dirty trick on him.

   Since the seahorse had a stomach,
   Poseidon thought he was a lady,
   And, blessing him by mistake, said
   “Be a good mom to your baby!”

VECE NA ZALU

   U tiho vece posmatram more
   dok Sunca zraci purpurom tvore
   saru sto bljeska
   skoro do peska,
   a vetar plese igru bez zabrana.

   Predamnom cipke od morske pene
   crtaju slike neugasene,
   i k’o u prici,
   na cas mi lici,
   ova je zemlja istim satkana…

   More se gasi i kroz noc crnu
   gledam gde zvezde cakle i trnu.
   Gledam svih trista:
   nijedna ista…
   Ipak to nije zemlja sanjana.

   Al’ zato kada zatvorim oci
   neki carobnjak mi u san skoci,
   pa se u meni
   sve zarumeni
   od plesa zvezda iznad Jadrana.

This is the olive tree that grows in Bar--one of the four oldest olive trees in the world!
It's about 1000 years old!
Ovo je drvo masline koje raste u Baru, jedno od cetiri najstarija drveta masline na svetu!
Staro je oko 1000 godina!
