I’d like to announce another ground breaking moment here. While the last episode was the first animated BRT, this is the first musical BRT. Please bear with me on this because I can’t guarantee it will work for everyone. Throughout the episode you will see a series of musical links. Clicking the link should spawn off a media player that will appear as a small window on your screen in front. If the player takes over your browser window, you may have to open two windows containing the episode and play the songs in one window, and look at the photos in the other. The songs may be a little long, so you probably want to kill them before they are done (just hit the “X” in the upper right hand corner of the media player window.) Just play enough to get the gist of it. Also, you have to hit “refresh” or “reload” to get the animation back after playing the music.
Sorry for all the confusing technical instructions. :( For those of you who are able to play the songs, I’m sure you will recognize them, but I’ll give extra credit to the first person who names them all along with the artist. You will get your username mentioned in a future BRT episode! (Wow! Great, huh?) :)
And now for the show…….
Max and Michael are getting ready for the big Roswell High Sophmore Prom. They are both a little nervous, but they know the evening is going to turn out just great. Look at their fabulous tuxes. Don’t they look just soooo hot? Oh, wait a minute….Max reminds Michael that he promised Maria to wear a touch of pink to match her dress. Uh oh….what’s he going to do now?
Liz and Maria are getting ready too. Maria tells Liz she’s not sure if Michael will come through on her pink request. Liz tells her not to worry. Besides, she’ll have enough trouble trying to stay cool in that furry pink coat. Maria reminds her that it’s fashion first, comfort later. After all, it is the prom.
Here comes Max to pick up Liz, and look...he even has a gift for her.
Oh….how romantic!!!!!
And off they go...
Michael was a little desperate, so using his special powers, he created this masterpiece.
Well, I guess it’s the thought that counts.
Who should they see when they arrive at the prom but Tess and her date Kyle. Tess couldn’t decide what color to wear, so she decided to go for them all. That way she’d be sure to select one of Max's favorites. Kyle, of course, is being fashionable as always in his snazzy white tux.
Of course Alex and Isabel are all set for an evening of fun too!
Roswell High spares no expense in bringing you top quality entertainment. The band for tonight includes Donnie from “New Kids on the Block” , Baby Spice and Sporty Spice from the “Spice Girls”. They are currently on tour as “Old Spice”. Whoa….its time to party now!!!!
Music: Song #1
The Sheriff has come to the prom as a chaperone, but when the music starts, there is just no stopping those Valenti’s . Look at them go!
Music Song #2
Kyle and the Sheriff find themselves the winners of the “Father/Son Dance Contest”. Of course that’s because they were the only contestants. Still, way to go!!!!!
Meanwhile Tess has just noticed that Donnie is in the band! OMG! Little did we realize but that huge box of photos in Tess’s house contained only a few of Max. They were actually concealing hundreds of Donnie photos. “Donnie,” she screamed, as she threw herself on the stage, “You are my destiny!”. Shortly there after Donnie appeared to be in a daze and started singing this song...
Music: Song #3
With Donnie out of commission, the band took a break and put on a few CD’s of slow songs. The crowd took advantage of the opportunity.
Pick a slow song of your choice...

Music: Song #4b
As they were slow dancing, Liz had a found herself drifting off into fantasyland…..to another wonderful day…..
And another wonderful night...
Unfortunately, as usual, “Maria Interuptus” strikes again. She tells them they are about to announce the prom King and Queen.
In a stunning turn of events, Michael and Maria are crowned King and Queen. It seems Michael’s pink hair was a big hit. Royalty was in his future. Maria totally forgives him now for that little pink mix-up, after all she is he is King of the Prom, and she is now the Queen!
Music: Song #5
After Tess kidnapped Donnie, the Sheriff decided to take over the band. The Spice Girls are pretty happy about that. Donnie was cramping their style.
Notice that mischievous wink? While his father’s back is turned, Kyle takes this opportunity to spike the punch bowl.
Seems Alex dipped into a little bit too much of the punch. Here he is now doing his combination Moonwalk and Breakdancing routine.
Music: Song #6
Although she is happy for Maria and Michael, Liz was a little disappointed she and Max were not named King and Queen. Max decides to take her out to a little after prom dinner at Senor Chow’s. Nothing can make you forget your troubles like a couple of burritos, a Pu Pu Platter for Two, and a few egg rolls dipped in guacamole.
Max spies a little bit of guacamole on Liz that he just has to help lick off. Mmmmmm....
And how did the prom night end for our group of friends? Well, I really don’t know for sure……We can only take a guess…..
