The Artist's History

David began the expansion from Fine Art to Muralist and Faux Finsihing while living in Vermont during the late 80's. Interior Designer Barbara Walker first requested him to complete a solarium recently built with an antiqued and weathered finish and a bed room in soft yellow and blended white tones. Ceiling murals and additional finishes were to follow. David is able to reproduce nearly any image or style on almost any scale on almost any surface. David can reproduce a faux finish and invent new faux finishes including the matching of existing colour and texture such as is found in marterials like marble, tile, wood, stone, paper, and many more. There are times when a blend of these skills is called for, including the effects of Trompe L'oiel, giving the illusion of space or rela objects on walls, floors, ceilings, or on objects. This skill is additionally very useful where old materials may not be available during a restoration project.
