My Hometown of San Fernando, Pampanga
Well, on this page, you will see the town where I grew up in. Although now, the town of Pampanga
should not be considered a 'small" town anymore. During the last ten years after the Mt. Pinatubo
blast, a number of growing businesses are now making there way through out San Fernando.
I do remember when I was growing up in the seventies and eighties, there were only a number of places
to visit. But now, there are several restaurants to visit that are corporately influenced, such as,
McDonald's, Jollibee, Shakey's Pizza etc. A rather tremendous growth for San Fernando
I am truly very proud of my home town!!!! As this picture shows the church in the main municipality
area where most of the small shops and restaurants used to be. When I was still around 3 or 4 yrs. old
my mother & father used to take me to church here. And in the left side of the church would
be a life size statue of Jesus of Nazareth carrying a cross. I guess being such a young age, I was
always scared to view it. But I learned to overcome my fears since I new it was God.
The San Fernando Rey Church
As you can see, San Fernando is considered to be the heart of Central Luzon. I guess because
San Fernando is the capitol of Pamanga. Just like the picture shows, It is rather large considering
the population in Pampanga.
