December 20 A White Christmas We used to live on top of a mountain in North Arkansas, USA, and we usually had a white Christmas there. It would be very cold outside, but we had a big woodburning stove that kept the house toasty warm. One year we had over two feet of snow right before Christmas! When we looked out the door, the whole world was glittery white with little green pine tree tops sticking out. On Christmas Eve our Mom hung a big blinking ball she had made of colored lights on the front porch, and we could see the colors of the lights reflecting off the drifted snow. It looked like a Fairyland out there! All the lights were twinkling on our special kitties Christmas tree inside, too. Our tree is always decorated with all kitties and kitty angel ornaments, ever since I can remember. It has a kitty angel in a white lace dress on top. Sitting there in my window, with lights dancing on the snow outside and on the wings of kitty angels inside, it was the most beautiful Christmas I ever saw! I'm dreaming of a white Christmas again this year. Merry
Christmas one and all!
