Thanks to Lee World for the bio.

Born April 25, 1970 in Orange, California. While living in California Lee took up Skateboarding at an early age. So much so that when he was 16 he dropped out of High School and became a pro skateboarder. For eight years he was a pro skateboarder winning championships, tournaments, and other things of that nature.

At the age of 23 Jason began acting in films, the first of which he was basically an extra in a film called "Mid Vida Loca". From there Jason auditioned for the new Gramercy picture directed by Kevin Smith called "Mallrats". Out of basic surprise to everyone Jason got the part over a guy that was thought to have had the role of Brodie Bruce locked. With Jason getting this part it began a lasting and meaningful relationship with Kevin, and subsequently sky rocketing his career.

At about the same time Mallrats started Jason got married to his current wife Carmen Lee in California and then a small ceremony in Europe. Jason also officially quit professional skateboarding after Mallrats wrapped production.

After Jason did Mallrats he was featured in 2 View Askew produced films, one called "Drawing Flies" directed by Malcolm Ingram. And the other called "A Better Place" directed by View Askew Historian Vincent Periera. Both films where shown at Vulgarthon 2000. After those two films Jason got the part of Banky in Kevin Smiths third film "Chasing Amy". Jason played this part to perfection and it eventually got him an Independent Spirit Award for best supporting actor in 1998.

After Chasing Amy Jason's career took a turning point. Suddenly he was being offered parts outside of the View Askew world, and eventually landing him a role in "Kissing a Fool", along side David Schwimmer. And then landing him his first role in a blockbuster film "Enemy of the State" in which he had a small but effective role.

After that Jason went to View Askew again to play Azrael in Smith's fourth feature "Dogma", in which Jason played a fallen muse, who is sent to hell to live as a demon. Jason's part wasn't to huge in the film but his character was defiantly a stretch from the usual roles he played as a best-friend or side-kick or sorts.

In Jason's 11th film, Mumford, he played a billionaire computer genius who lacks friend named, Skip Skipperton. Jason himself says this is the film that really made him want to continue acting as a career for a good amount of time.

After Mumford, came Jason's best film to-date in my opinion, Almost Famous, in which he played the jealous lead singer of the rock band, Stillwater, Jeff Bebe. This is the role that got Jason nominated for his first two mainstream awards, a SAG for best assembled cast and a Blockbuster Award for best supporting actor. Traffic won the SAG but the Blockbuster Awards are happening next month!

Heartbreakers was just released in theatres. Jason plays the romantic lead in this film who falls in love with Jennifer Love Hewitt. Everyone should defiantly check this flick out as Lee does a fantastic job!

At about this time the world finds out about Jason's new racing school/company Road One Racing, in which he teaches people to drive sports cars, and competes in races himself. To learn more about this company visit RoadOneRacing.com . We also learn that Jason has a band might record a CD sometime soon at this time soon. More on both companies as the progress.

In the future Jason will appear in "Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back", which has just wrapped production, returning as Brodie Bruce and Banky Edwards. Jason will also be in Big Trouble with Tim Allen, Vanilla Sky with Tom Cruise, and Stealing Stanford with Tom Green.
