While the plan fell short of the required two-thirds approval by the voters in 1998, it provided the essential framework that was also used in developing the new 20-year Expenditure Plan (Measure B) that Alameda County voters will vote on in the Nov. Meetings of the ACTA board and all of its committees are always open to full public participation. ACTA directors created the Citizens Advisory Committee to provide information to the community and create an additional vehicle to attract citizen involvement. Each member of the ACTA governing board nominates three members. the third Thursday of each month at the ACTA office, 1401 Lakeside Drive, Suite 600, Oakland. |
