Life...Its not an easy road
but I don't want it to pass me by
Life is a challenge
I want to stare it in the eye.
I am waiting everyday
for something new to come my way.
Let me feel the pain of a broken heart
don't shelter me from the world outside
let me witness let me feel
hurt, evil and the pain out there
Don't be the great wall...
trying to stop me from moving on.

I am going to rule the world
Make my dreams come true
Make my wishes come to life.
I am not going to let you
talk me out of my dreams.
I want you to understand
my everything.
Understand my destiny.
I am sick of people
telling me how to act
like my life is a bunch of cold hard facts.
They dont know who I am inside
myself is the only one I confide.
I want my life to begin
so I can let true happiness in.
I am not trying to disrespect you
or hurt our relationship in anyway
but somethings need to be done
and others I need to say.
I need you to let me go
let me make my own mistakes
let me fall to the ground
and get up on my own.
Let me cry my own tears
It may take me years
but in time I will learn.
I need to look in the mirror
and smile at what I see
not the hair, makeup and glamour...
but just knowing I am me.
Don't try to change who I am
We are all unique in our own right
I want to be more then a face in the crowd
I want to be a more outgoing site.
I have no idea what my future holds
or what God has planned for me.
I have one goal for myself....

Story about "Any Day Now"
I first wrote this as a song, but decided it made a better poem then anything. In "Any Day Now" I express my deep feelings for wanting to grow up, live my life and make my own decisions. I want to make my own mistakes, live up to my own goals and just expierence life. This will always be Me, this poem is truely my words.
