Oh my dear Lord its been way to long
Its been to long since I sat down to just talk with you.
Its been to long since I truely confided in you.
Things have been hard and I didn't know where to turn
and instead of turning to your grace
I turned to other, horribly, things.
Please my lord- dear lord- forgive me for what I have done.
I never meant to lose you or your presence.
You are the only thing that has kept me going.
I have your faith in life.
I have your blessing.
Thats why I am still here.
Please my dear lord, forgive me for all that i have done.
It was wrong, dear lord, I know it was wrong.
Please don't leave me alone
I tried to be strong, without you...
and I have fallen to the ground.
Now that I have you back in my life
its finally life again.
Thank you, Lord for letting me turn back.

Oh My Dear Lord was written when I found myself losing site of what was most important to me, my relationship with God. When I don't know where to turn, I can always turn back to him, he is always willing to take me under his wing. Being christian is an amazing gift.
