Tears of a Fish
A lost teenager is like a gold fish
The teen walks around the world
searching for her own dreams.
A fish is swimming around lost
looking for a reason to even live.
The teen gets used, betrayed and hurt.
Innocent gold fish are used to feed other fish.
Both are expected to help others.
Neither can fully live up to the expectations.
The teen needs a break away from life
the fish needs to swim up for food.
Sometimes tears fill the teens' eyes
She is exhausted, frustrated and lost.
Tears of a fish come pouring out of his eyes
and simply add to its enviornment.
Tears exit his eyes and enter his home.
His pain and misery is used to help him grow
like a teenager, it helps him grow and learn.
He will sooner or later filter his tears
that once fell from his eyes
and the teenager will look back
and with a smile understand just why...
She will understand why...
