Addy,

I set up your camera today to take pictures of me. You are not here to do it and I want to make these for your heart. We can be together for a moment. Moments may be all we have, not forevers.

I stood in front of the wallpapered wall in the kitchen wearing a string of quickly-closing dandelions and a fresh-faced grin. You like me like that. And I like to please you.

The other batch of corny constructions included me in skimpy, baggy underwear sometimes wearing those gaudy kick-your-ass platform shoes you laugh about. Othertimes I added a string of mother’s precious pearls. I wonder why they look so out-of-place around my neck? Nevertheless, I gave you my smile in every single shot. I am such a goof for you.

My singular desire is to be a bright happy bird that flies into your house so I can finally be captured by you, my corrosive madman. For me to even admit that, takes my breathe away. I said it OUT LOUD!

I want to create an outsider universe, not one alone, but a blazing magical one for two, maybe three.

You and me.

Merritt

P.S.The pics will be processed tomorrow and ready-to-go on Wednesday. I’ll send them FedEx so you don’t disappear into that slipknot you have warned me about.
