Hey Jeff!
This one is for you!
I was out driving and I spied this barn! What a barn it is. I went up to the house and asked if the artist was around. He was and here is his story:
His name is Jeff Grandt. He is 17. One day in March 2000, he was sitting on his porch kinda bored. He had three tubes of paint, but no canvas. His eyes drifted over to the barn and wha-la! he decided to paint it...if the landlord would approve. His mom asked the guy, who happens to be an artist, and he said, “Go for it.”
So Jeff, same name as you, enlisted his pal Sean Rankin, and they started to use the barn as a huge canvas. This is how it looks so far. Very hippieish! Cool, huh?
Jeff said this has opened up a whole new world for him. “It’s therapeutic. If I wasn’t painting the barn, there is no telling what I would be up to.”
I hope this gives you some inspiration. Like when you did that cool painting on your desk after the other story I shared with you.
Art and books are the secret hangouts for the restless people, like you and me. Embrace them. They can make your life better.
