Ooh, an 18 year old reading comics? He's gotta be weird . Well, yes and no . I'm weird, but only because I'm an individual .
Comics are something I've always wanted to get into, and with my good friend Jim's help, I have succeeded! it all started when I found out he was a big fan....and then I ran across a comic shop right next to our univeristy building .
From there, I learnt that a guy called Ennis was writing the latest series of The Punisher...a character I had always been a fan of . Then I realied that this Ennis bloke was really rather good, and that he wrote something I was told about during my work experience at Hasbro Interactive several years ago... Preacher.
Now, to say that Preacher rocks is a bit of an understatement . Basically, it is better than most other literature that I have read, and luckily for me is available in graphic novel from for about 10 pounds each book . There are 9 books, and I have 8 . The next one is due out April of this year (2001) . Can't wait..
Anyway...each comic I own, have read or just plain like will have their own section up here, so you can get some idea of what they're all about...maybe with some cover art too!
