Growing up in the Columbia River Gorge was amazing. The Gorge is filled with so much talent and artists of all kinds. I am lucky enough to be one of them. Making jewelry has been my creative outlet for years. I had a great teacher in the beginning, my mom, who had a small jewelry business while I was growing up. I took the basics she taught me and expanded. Using wire as my main medium, I hand form all the earring hooks, solder all of my chain links and add stones to make a complete piece of art. Really the possibilities are endless. I am rewarded every time a piece of my work is adored by a new owner. |
