Watch Your Car
The Department is actively participating in the Maryland Auto Theft
Prevention Council "Watch Your car" program. This program allows
our residents to register their vehicles with the program through the
Police Department or on line at www.mdautotheft.org.
A sticker is placed on the registered vehicle that allows officers
to stop the car from 1 am to 5 am to insure that the driver is allowed
to have possession of the car. Residents may register their vehicle(s)
M-F 10 AM –4 PM by coming to the Police Station. You must have
the registration to your vehicle(s) and be the registered owner of the
car. Officers will also have registration forms with them and may be
able to register your car while on patrol. Of course, the easiest way to
register is on line at
www.mdautotheft.org.Employees Nominated
