Interpretations
I'm a surrealist. Most of my drawings don't mean anything individually. But collectively, what I'm trying to do is give the viewer a sense of an alternate reality. I guess if there's a message in these drawings, it's that there is a multiplicity of realities beyond the one we're familiar with. You might also wonder about the demonic theme that seems to reoccur in several of them. Let's just say not every reality is a heavenly one. I also like shock value.
I've divided up my drawings into phases of my life. I will not go into detail about what these phases were about, but for the most part they are marked by an influx of drawings. The drawings of each phase, however, don't usually have anything to do with the phase itself, nor does the naming scheme I've adopted for each phase reflect anything about my drawings (you will find there are a few exceptions to this).
One thing that you'll find is that my drawings become more professional with time in terms of skill and detail. They also become more and more warped. Around the turn of the millennium, color gets incorporated in a few, and keeps getting richer as time goes on.
