This set commemorates the centenary of the death of Dr Heinrich von Stephan, a famous reformer of the international mail services of the nineteenth century. The design is by Abdul Hamid Motsenewa, and shows the distinguished gentleman. The stamps were printed by letterpress by the Imperial Occussi-Ambeno Government Printing Office (KDPN).
